I am getting some work around the house done and then after lunch picking up mom and heading out to camp David for the rest of the day.
I have a fresh fruit salad made, the pork chops are marinating for the grill...well will be as soon as I get off here and do it.

And yep. A quick check of our Countdown chart confirms we are just 10 days off from the 2/3 Christmas Season Milestone, July 14!
The worst Summer has to offer is still holding off. We had some more rain yesterday and with the cloud cover for most of the day, the temps stayed moderate.
Today is supposed to be clear, so we will see what that does to our temps.
Currently, we are at 73 relatively damp degrees here.

Happy Fourth of July!
The weather isn't looking too good today. It's going to be mostly cloudy with scattered showers this afternoon, a high of only 73 degrees. I guess I'll have to send my husband out with an umbrella to grill and we'll eat in the dining room. Not what I had planned but it will be alright, we'll have fun anyway. I still have a lot to do this morning so I'm going to finish my cup of coffee and get started. I'll pop back in when I can. I hope everyone is well and has a happy and safe Independence Day!!!
Happy 4th of July! Hope you all have a great day and the pups are not too scared of the fireworks! I heard this is the biggest day for people losing their pets due to them being scared and running off! It is pretty cloudy here and hoping the rain holds off!
