Actually, she wasn't into cozying up at all! She wanted to PLAY! Then the storms rolled in & I got her to lay with me on the couch for a bit, but then she hid between the couch & the end table. She likes to be in a "cave" when storms are coming through! I did start watching A Family For Christmas but couldn't keep my peepers open!

We are doing OK. Just took Harlowe out on a quick walk.
The sirens just went off again, so we are heading downstairs again. What a night.

Good Morning!

Well say, now. Was it worth the wait?
(And the wait really wasn't very long since the last Milestone, was it?)

Regardless, we have arrived at the first day of the LAST THIRD of our Season count!

Days to the Season: 122
Days to Christmas Day: 164

And as usual, I'm afraid to look ahead to the next Milestone. Too scary.
The year is slipping away fast!
Let's postpone that until at least tomorrow, OK?


Not too bad weather-wise for July here yesterday. Somewhat lower heat and humidity after a rather noisy electrical storm around 5:00 AM.
Hopefully, it will be quieter today.
Right now, our temperature recording device says it is 72 degrees in our back yard.

A day of playing catch up from the weekend, I wasn't feeling anywhere near 100% today. I thought I was going to have to leave early, but I stuck it through. Day off tomorrow, mowing the grass is in order.

Happy Tuesday and Milestone Day! :notice:


Last night, we had a storm that completely blew our router, so I wasn't here! We had to make a surprise trip to the store to pick up another one. Thank goodness for savings and for being able to afford it without a problem! They're expensive!

I'm starting off my day watching HSN's CIJ preview! Midnight is when CIJ begins for them. Their Today's Special is those laser lights that were on QVC's preview...so many lights!
