I really like the beaded tinsel garland, looks very vintage.

I've bought quite a few of the bottle brush trees from them,and the German feather trees too- their vintage is very authentic looking. Excellent quality, too.

Praying that this finds everyone well. Long, humid day out and about doing errands. Forgot to take my library books with me to return so I ended up going inside the library to renew them and decided to visit the used book sale. Lots of fun browsing the stacks and I ended up finding a few goodies for the store and a Christmas cookbook for me.

Snow-in-Texas and I went out today and saw a lot of fall decor. Is anyone else seeing a lot of it as well? The cooler weather will be here soon! I did post a few pictures of what we saw in the Autumn section.

I'm feeling a little Christmassy today. I'm in the parking lot at Elizabeth's dance studio while she auditions for this year's Nutcracker Ballet! Fun, fun!!

How's your Saturday? Going by too fast?
Great summer weather today---mid- to high 70s, partly cloudy.
Someone's having a birthday party in the neighborhood---I'm not used to noise around here! (How do I know it's a birthday party? A very loud rendition of "Happy Birthday"!)
I think I'll get a glass of iced tea and rip some CDs into my digital music archive.

Man, I can't believe we are under 100 days until the season....whose in for the countdown that night? I can't wait. That is one of my favorite times of the year here! I'm getting so excited. We have been planning Bambina's bday and talking about Christmas for the girls. Such an exciting time.

Have y'all started doing any Christmas related stuff? Bambina might have her first sleep over at her Nana's house, so I'm going to try to talk Doc into going to Hobby Lobby and looking at what they have out. She might not want to, but I sure am hopeful

It's good to be back more regularly.
Your discussion plans remind me of a lines I had to run through with a friend back in drama club so he could do his skit.

I was just going to text you! Let me start by saying ...She did have a few good hours last night, even saw her tail wag a few times.
But then she had a few rough hours, as well. She seems to get pretty upset after the ointment. But there is no bad reaction around the wound area, and the vet says it's not supposed to hurt or burn. I think she is just very sensitive, and feels vulnerable right now because it is quite large and that area is exposed. We are giving her a lot of love and attention though-hopefully the antibiotics will kick in quickly.
Thank you so much for asking!

Praying for my little Buddy, Friend!!!! I hope the meds have her back to her normal self in no time!!! Give her lots of hugs for me!!!

Merry Saturday! My oldest daughter had a sleepover last night at a friend's house last night so I have to pick her up around 12. Then we are going to a little BBQ tonight at a friend's house. No real plans tomorrow. I need to catch up on laundry.

Good Morning! Looks like we are going to have beautiful weather for this entire weekend; sunny and high's in the mid 80's Although, I am very partial for the 50-70 degree range, I'll still take it. Wow, Saturday already, hmmmmm, this weekend's plans, not sure yet entirely, I just have some ideas to do some little things in the house and maybe get to some landscaping stuff done on the outside. I would actually like to have a date day with the wife today, since she has been working every weekend and this weekend, she is off. So, maybe I'll leave the planning up to her, and give her the opportunity to do things that she would like to do.....
Not that I don't do that on a regular basis (LOL!!!!)......
