Its only 103 days till christmas Woo-Hoo..Next week and we will be into double digits..

I love those John Lewis Christmas advertisements. My favorite is the snowman and his wife from 2012. I can't seem to find a video of it on Youtube, though. They are all parodies of the commercial.

Good evening, friends~
My father-in-law is back home, now. He was released yesterday. They couldn't pinpoint his medical issues, unfortunately.
My fingers and toes are crossed that he will do well this week.
Hope you all had a nice weekend~
God bless.
Goodnight!

I'm sorry they couldn't track down his problem, but I bet he feels better just being at home. Still praying for him!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's beautiful here! When I took Lulu outside about 6:15 this morning, I held a warm breath from inside and let it out outside...and I saw my breath!! Ok, I was cheating using warm air from inside, but still!

Now I'm at work with my window open, cool breeze coming through, and a Mulled Cider candle burning on my desk. The only thing that would make it better would be if I was in the mountains!

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Thank you, Holiday! I hope things are going well for you, too! The prayers for Palmer are greatly appreciated!! Have a MERRY weekend!

What a doll! Congratulations, Holiday!!

Congrats!! Adorable!

Thank you both! He's home! Haven't seen him in person yet, but I saw on FB that they made it home yesterday! :)

My husband can't believe I'm reading and chatting about Christmas.Sure glad I have my festive chums to understand how I can get lost for hours on these merry pages.

Mr. O'Malley is calling for me to come and snuggle.

Have a great evening and enjoy the weekend!

Hi O'Malley! ::wave
Tell your hubby he's missing out on all the fun! ;)

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's a beautiful morning with a temp of 50 degree's. It looks like we will top out around 76 later. Unfortunately, it looks like the upper 80's are going to return for a few days later this week before cooling off again. At least my A/C is getting a nice break. Not to much going on here today. I'm sitting at the hospital right now waiting for them to call mom back to hook her up to a portable heart monitor. She has to wear it for 24 hours and then come back for them to take it off. The doctor wanted it done when she was having her spell the last time we were in but it took them a month to get it scheduled and of course, she isn't having the heart palpations now. So not a lot hope that it's going to show anything. I also need to stop by the store while we are out and pick up a few things too. Other than that, just hanging at home. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Thank you for the prayers, Brad!
He does- Adrian watched football with him yesterday, and then they took his dog, Rusty for a walk outside since it was so nice out.

Good Morning, New Weekers!

It's good to be back home after a nice weekend visit with my niece in Charlotte.
Got to see alot of the city and eat out at some nice restaurants.

OK.
The count.
And let me preface it with a heartfelt "Thank You!" and a tip of the Santa hat to DYHWIH for stepping up once again to handle count duties in my absence yesterday morning.

Days to the Season: 60 (under 2 months!)
Days to Christmas Day: 102 (The 100-day Window is the day after tomorrow!)

(Have mercy, Father Time. Things are just starting to move too quickly!)

Real good weather over the weekend for our trip, with what little rain there was falling at convenient times.
It was still warm and Summer-like on Saturday, but yesterday saw a shocking reduction in both temperatures and humidity. It was in the low 60's yesterday morning, and with a breeze blowing, it almost felt too cool!
This morning, we are seeing a continuation of the lowered humidity and our thermometer stands at a relatively chilly 54 degrees.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks!

Thanks Crown! Exciting days ahead!! Welcome back!

Thank you!
Our weekend was nice! Very laid-back, a lot of good food, friends, and movies ;-) we also did some biking and lots of walks to enjoy the fall weather.

How was your time at the lake?

Ken was released late Saturday afternoon, and got home Saturday night. He is doing about the same, still having confusion and memory loss. Hopefully the VA will assign him the CNA very soon, so he can have some help at home. We are told that they are working on it. I am praying very hard!

Thank you for asking!

Sorry to hear he's still having issues! Praying he does well & he is assigned a CNA very soon! Is anyone staying with him now? Poor guy!

Time at the lake was nice. We went to the winery, watched the Buckeyes, went out for supper on Saturday. Yesterday we had friends & neighbors over to our house. I made a pot of taco soup. We wanted to make it over the fire at the lake, but it was too windy! :(
Continued prayers heading your way!

Sounds pretty amazing...if only in the mountains! Have a great day Brad!

It's frustrating when the doctors don't seem to get in a hurry to help you. You want them to be able to see what's going on, but you don't want to wish for more palpitations, either. I'm so sorry, Made. Praying for her and for you.

No, he's staying overnight alone. She does stay over, as needed.
He doesn't think there is anything wrong, and has no recollection of events at the hospital unfortunately.
My sister-in-law lives a mile away, and stops in a couple of times per day to take care of him. In between her full time job, and kids activities. Bless her heart. I don't think she sleeps much.
He does have a medical alert necklace, which provides some comfort to us.
Because of no diagnosis, and him choosing to be at home- legally, their hands are tied. So it is a bit worrisome. We are praying! And thank you for your prayers!

Sounds like a fabulous weekend! Glad you guys had such a nice time!

I went out on the tractor yesterday afternoon, plowing up (harrowing, actually) Jacob's hunting plot. The cool, clear weather really got me in the fall spirit! I didn't even mind the diesel fumes from the broken muffler LOL. The hunting spot is near my grandma's pond, and I saw a moccasin slither past while I was on the tractor. Still have to be careful about those things!

Yikes!! Stay safe.
Sounds like you had a nice time on the tractor, enjoying the beautiful weather!
