Good Friday Morning, MMC! The weekend is finally here. I am going to be at an annual church conference for our state today with my husband (it's nice to both be chaplains and get to do things together!), and that isn't work-it's meeting people and spending time together learning, so I'm considering it a day off! Tomorrow morning I start 8K training-the race is mid-November, when my husband is running--wait for it--THE MARATHON. What? He's out running right now--very dedicated. I'm proud of him! But-5 miles is enough for me-six is my max. Hope you all have some wonderful plans for the weekend!! Enjoy and find time to relax!! I know I will.

We usually have a pizza & movie night on Fridays, then we may grill on Saturday, and get some things done around the house. Some friends invited us for happy hour at their house down the street, so we'll probably head there, then have a quiet rest of the night. Sunday, we plan to see Ken, and help my sister in law prepare for their big annual rummage sale.

Sounds a really nice weekend planned. Both fun and relaxing. Hope Ken is settling in at home and recovering.
Family game night tonight. We're playing poker, my eldest loves playing it. Other than that staying in over the weekend and hopefully recover from this cold. I loved last Saturday watching movies and lounging. I plan to repeat. I love being cosy indoors this time of year. I appreciate the change in pace now that summer is over. I'll be going into work on Sunday.

Good Morning!!! Guess what, I am not at work, it's a miracle. Today is the start of a 3 day weekend for me. I actually will be just doing things around the house today like, I have Home Depot coming here in about an hour to install a six foot French door down in the basement and remove the slider that's in there now. Then I have an appointment here at the house at 10, for a contractor to give me a price to look at bringing in a piece of equipment and removing part of a hillside and installing a retaining wall. And the exterminator will be here at 12 to give me a price to spray and treat around my garage, I found termites in it this past weekend. Looks like they just started munching away at some wood that was wet. So, this will take care of them.... Plan to have a work around the house weekend....
