Well hopefully that's not the case for her. Hopefully she feels better.
My dog needed surgery...it was either that or he was basically going to be crippled. 6K later yeah it did work...he gets around pretty good now. I wouldn't say he runs around as much as he did before he got hurt but he's 10 and he's happy and he is independent for the most part which is good.
Thank you~
Glad you were able to get him the surgery he needed, and that he gets around well now. Please give him a hug for me.

I hear you about costs, we spent that + in the year of emergency care, trying to reach a diagnosis, running tests, and ruling things out. But they are worth it ❤️

Yeah fortunately I have 2 brothers who helped split the cost. So it didn't kill me and honestly when I looked at him the money didn't matter much to me. Yet somehow I'm overall pretty cheap. I don't really want to spend $50 on going out to dinner but I'd spend $2K on my dog like it's nothing.

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines/MILESTONE/WednesDAY!!! We have FOG this morning!! All the schools are delayed! Funny how those spider webs really show up in shrubs when it's foggy out. Creepy!!!! Of course I passed my Mom on the road this morning, heading to her water aerobics class at the Y! Heaven forbid she misses that!! (we have always told her if the schools are delayed, she doesn't need to be driving to the Y....she listens well! :p)

Last night for supper I made the recipe HMG posted for Chicken Pot Pie. It was very good! Thanks HMG! :) I will drop a couple slices off for Mom after work today! I think she will really like it!
Have a wonderful day MMC!!!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

OK, Folks.
Ready or not, we have just -- as of this very day -- entered the FINAL TEN PERCENT OF OUR QUEST FOR CHRISTMAS SEASON 2015!!
The HOME STRETCH has begun!

Carl knows it.
(Boy, does he know it!)
More below.

Days to the Season: 37
Days to Christmas Day: 79

Hey, Hey, Hey!
Whaddu you say!
The sun shown here for the whole darn day!

I refer to yesterday. An end to 12 days of rain at last.
Whew!
Now, nice weather is predicted for the entire remainder of the week.
(Won't THAT be great!)
We have commenced things at 58 degrees here in our little part of the MMC Nation.

Allrighty. Pines Day!
It falls not only on a MILESTONE DAY but on the 10-percent-of-the-count-left marker.
Carl, aware of this of course, is working that into tonight's theme, which is "Stretching for Home". All of the details are not yet finalized, but Carl has revealed that there will be a lottery. In recognition of reaching the 10 percent mark, the winning drawer will get 10 complimentary fired twinkies among other prizes.
That's fine, but I'm not too sure about this "stretching" for home business. Sounds a bit risky(?)
Regardless, I'll be there -- but with my eyes open.
(Always sound advise for any visit to the 'Pines when Carl is feeling frisky.)

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Thanks for the update and glad things have not gotten worse. I will be praying for improvement!!!

My dad's energy is well. My mom, dad and I took a walk at the Arboretum this morning and he was walking all over without any issues or fatigue. I was happy to see him doing so well. He will always have his health condition but at least he is doing well. Thanks for asking about him!
I'm glad to hear your Dad is doing well! Continued prayers!!! xx

More gazebos set up at the Arboretum for the 12 Days of Christmas! What's behind the curtains, you ask? When they draw the curtains back for the season you will see 2nd, 3rd and 4th Day of Christmas behind these gazebos. They have a total of 11 gazebos set up right now. The time is getting closer for the unveiling!

How cool is that??!! Exciting!!! :gifty

Thanks for the suggestion, Sam.
Yes, I have tried that in the past. When she had many pills to take. She is so finicky that I can't get her to keep anything on her tongue, let alone in her mouth. She's not a food inspired girl, if you will. She has even turned her nose up at steak, beef, chicken, etc.
She usually is pretty good about taking her regular meds with peanut butter, she must really be feeling rough.
Thanks again for thinking of us.

Bless her. Hope by the time you're home later, she is feeling a lot better!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Everyone!

Thanks Crown. We're in the homeeeeeeeeeee stretch.

Well you would have been really angry last week then if you were in my area.
LOL! Oh, those days are coming here, I'm sure!

Stunning photo, Holiday! Tell your friend how lovely it is! So glad you got to wake up to this!
It was a beautiful photo & a beautiful morning, was nice to wake up too. Nothing but fog out the window today!

Thank you holiday! I feel better-just tired! Turning in early tonight for sure! Hope you had a wonderful wonderful day!
I hope you had a good nights sleep & feel 100% today! You have a big night ahead! :)

Happy Tuesday Evening, all! Tomorrow is a Milestone Day and Pines Day, and the sun is shining, and I have Thursday off, and we're going to a concert with friends tomorrow night--it's going to be a wonderful weekend!!!!

If only we could get to it! :) But, alas, we can't wish away the time...

We're right in the thick of the most wonderful time of the year! LET'S ENJOY IT!
Enjoy your day off & have a blast at the concert!!!
Let's do enjoy it!! :D

so Carl tells me he is going all out this year to celebrate our Canadian thanksgiving. He claims to have researched it and knows exactly what we Canadians eat and do on our special day. I will not be missing this party at the pines tomorrow. Really want to see what he comes up with.
How exciting!!!

wow, am I ever sore and achy tonight...all those turkeys being rung through are so heavy and cold ! Back at it again tomorrow, I think I am going to insist people leave them in the cart and I will come around and hand scan them instead.
But now, I am going to curl up with a book and relax.
Sounds like a good plan to walk around. I hope today goes better & you feel less sore when you go home tonight! xx Have a good day!

Blahhhhh night! took over 2 hours to pick up a rental car from Hertz. I get in it, and it smells like an ash tray :(. Took it back, they cleaned it??? and yet I can still smell it.... Man that stuff really stinks (cigarette smoke)! Got home late for dinner, the wife was peooed... Grandfather was not in the best of moods either. I tried to socialize with the wife, but that wasn't happening! So, I went upstairs took a shower and climbed into bed. Needed to just disappear for awhile~
Hope today is a better day! xx

Watch out for those spiders!
Good morning, holiday!
Happy Pines day!
Hope your mom enjoys her water aerobics class, and stay safe in the fog.
Glad you enjoyed the chicken pot pie.
Have a wonderful day!

Thanks~
I was up most of the night with a sick Harlowe. Please keep her in your prayers.
Xo
OH NO!!! Praying she is doing better now!

Good Morning, MMC~

Good morning! I hope you & Har both have a blessed & beautiful day!!!

We were up all night. She is finally resting, thankfully. She is very anxious, nauseous, shaking, sick in each way possible. Poor girl-so hard to see her like this. I tried to give her something to settle her stomach, but she won't take it. I even tried to force it gently, but she just spits it out.
I will come home at lunch to check on her. I'm so glad Adrian is home today.
Poor sweet girl!! I'm glad Adi is home with her too!!! Praying she is doing better now!
