Good Thursday morning MMC. How's everyone now that we are more than halfway through the week? I've got a long day today but that's ok. I am leaving at 7:30 for work like usual and won't return till 7:30 after my exam which will be after work. . But once I get home from that 12 hour day we will be almost to Friday which is always exciting. It is currently 56 degrees under mostly cloudy skies in the suburbs of NY. We are expecting a high of 70 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Can't complain about the weather this week that's for sure.
Everyone thinking about the weekend yet? Any special plans? I'm thinking this weekend I do need to dig more into my Halloween shows/movies/cartoons etc. I bought some Halloween candy yesterday...it's definitely feeling like the holidays are around the corner now. Pretty scary yet 10X more exciting than scary!

Good Morning, Post-Milestone, Home-Stretch Hugging People.

In case you were not here yesterday, we successfully entered the final 10 percent of our Season count and are now advancing rapidly on Christmas Season 2015.

Days to the Season: 36
Days to Christmas Day: 78

And in point of fact, there are now NO more Milestones separating us from the commencement of the Season on Nov 13.
That's as in ZERO, folks!
(Better start getting ready!)


Ah! Fantastic weather at last.
We paid our dues with 12 consecutive days of rain and now Mother Nature owes us!
This fine, clear morning has begun at 61 degrees here in central NC.

Merry Morning, MMCers!

The concert last night was out of this world awesome!!! I'm enjoying a quiet morning before my day off! I'll be doing a lot of fall cleaning today! Pre-holiday cleaning as I like to call it. Time to get this apartment ready for some major decorating for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas! SO EXCITING. I'll be listening to Christmas music as I do it to get in the festive mood!

I'm feeling almost back to 100% now. I'm pretty tired after being up last night really, really late, but it was so worth it!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful productive day! In the homestretch now!

I'm having one of those days where everything thing is running later than planned. Hope everyone is having a good day. For most of you it's probably only just starting?

Hey does anyone know of any SAFE ways to deter cats from doing their business from my garden. The unknown feline has taken to a spot next to my front door which really isn't ideal!! It's really frustrating me. I've just had to clean up FOUR spots of it!!! It's not even my cat!!! LOL!! ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hope you find a safe solution Festive. I've never had to deal with that, probably because I've had the dogs in the yard all these years.

We are heading to the lake this weekend. A lot of our neighbors will be up. We will watch the buckeyes at Noon tomorrow & then we don't really have any plans. Possibly making soup over the fire after the game. THAT is what I'm hoping to do!!

Maggie was up a lot. Her cough wasn't as bad though. She just doesn't seem to want to stay in bed. Every time I put her down, she wants to come back up. She making me crazy!

Sorry to hear Maggie was up a lot overnight but glad to hear cough wasn't as bad.
Buster use to get up a lot overnight too (in his older years) - I understand, it does make ya crazy!!! Best wishes, hugs, thoughts & prayers to you both!

We are planning to go to our favorite pumpkin patch & corn maze this weekend, it's a little outside of town, and should be s beautiful Autumn drive. One of my dear friends just moved back to the Midwest, and she may meet up with us too. Then, some scary movies are in order.

I was able to get Maggie to take her cough suppressant yesterday but I'm not having any luck with the capsules from the holistic doctor. I don't know what I'm going to do with her. I don't know how something so small be such high maintenance!
