I've already dipped into the candy Adrian has been teasing me about that, reminding me to think about the kids, ha ha. We'll have to buy more!

Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I just ordered a doggy stroller for Maggie, I'm so excited. I haven't been able to walk her because she can't tolerate the exercise with the collapsing trachea. I can't wait to talk her for walks again!
I'm heading out soon, I have a list of things that we need from Target. Back home afterward to exercise and work on some chores around the house. I'm making beef stew for dinner tonight, I've been craving it.

Beef stew does sound really good. When we were kids my mom used to make stew sometimes. I rarely ever have it anymore.

Definitely need that support group, if you have room for another member!

The new water heater was installed Tuesday. Last night: No hot water. This morning: No hot water. Later today: They're coming to fix it, and we'd darn well better have hot water tonight! I washed up in the bathroom sink this morning with hot water from the teakettle.

I cant wait to see a photo of the stroller with Maggie in it!!!!! It's such a good idea. I had no idea about her trachea. Bless her! She will enjoy the stroller, I'm sure.

That is very frustrating especially after having it fixed, you wouldn't expect any more problems. I hope they can sort it out quickly. No hot water is a major inconvenience!!

Today my parents are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary!!! I am beyond thrilled! They gave my brother and I a good life surrounded by love and support. What I got to witness was a loving couple who got along very well growing up. They have been the laid back type of couple who went with the flow and saw life in a humorous way instead of stressing on it all. I am very thankful to be raised by wonderful parents. Here's to many more years ahead!!!

We wound up being the hottest place in Canada by the late afternoon. Weird weather this time of year, hot one day and -2 the next. I enjoyed a nice long weekend though and brought a meatloaf sandwich to work and everyone was jealous. My dad made the pie himself, he hasn't done that for a while.

Very weird. Good for your dad. My mom or dad has never made a pie themselves (that I can recall). My grandma can't make anything any more. Thankfully, Kim's side of the family is quite delicious with their baked goods.

Hopefully it's a very mild case & never progresses more than that - that does happen. So please try to stay positive. I totally understand how hard that is!! Praying for you all!
The vet heard a heart murmur in Gracie when she was a puppy too. She said that is not uncommon - then eventually she said she did outgrow it. So hopefully hers doesn't appear again in the future too.

Merry Thursday! Hope everyone is doing well.
My son had a very good birthday yesterday. Thanks again for all the well wishes.
As we were driving around yesterday, I noticed a drastic increase in leaf-fall and colour. It was beautiful and it seemed so sudden compared to early last week.

My head feels stuffy and I have either another cold or still haven't got over that last one. I'm not sure. I feel fine mostly though.

Well I better get some things done. It's almost like boxing day after a birthday Can't believe his birthday has come and gone. Next up Halloween !!

Good Thursday Morning MMC. We currently have 43 degrees in the suburbs of NY. We are expecting a high temperature of 63 degrees with mostly sunny skies. More October beautiful weather.
Another Thursday is here. That means another glorious Friday can't be far behind. I'm definitely feeling good about my 85 on my Calculus exam so that's kind of given me extra motivation to get myself to work harder at it instead of feel like giving up on it. Can you believe that 6 weeks from today will be Thanksgiving? That's just hard for me to fathom. 2 weeks from this weekend is Halloween. And of course halfway in between those 2 is...the Christmas season! Crazy...there's really not that much more time to get ready for it. Anyone have any exciting plans for the weekend?

This weekend we have all outdoor activities planned on Saturday, which is not good considering the weather forecast! We are having a memorial tribute to our friend at the lake. We bought a plaque for her husband, & sun catchers for her 2 granddaughters & her son. We bought her favorite wine & we are going to have a toast to her after we give them their things. After that we are making wings on my BIL's big cooker & we will be cooking Smoked sausage Cabbage Potato Soup over the fire. We will have to start the soup early so we can make the fire big again to watch the Buckeye game outside on the big screen at 8:00! BRRRRR

Can you ever ONLY spend 20 minutes in Walmart?

Apparently my 86 year old mother thought she could. Ha ha! Took her longer than she thought too b/c she had to go all over the store for her few items. She had 2 little bags in the front of her cart...my cart was FULL! LOL I flew through that store!!

Har's vet heard one in her as a puppy, too.
I thought she had outgrown it.
But it is an issue with Cavalier King Charles. I'm just praying it hasn't progressed. Thanks for the hugs & prayers
