3.73 miles done with a major chill in the air! Time to run some errands...seems to be a lot of running for me this morning! :)

Loving the Christmas music and the chill in the air! The AC units are waiting to go back into storage until May! It's weird to look at the windows without them! One more reminder that the season is headed our way.

Have a WONDERFUL day, MMC!!! Hope everyone gets to relax some and enjoy it!

Nice job on the run! This is my favorite time to year to run rural roads. A year ago last week, I was in Vermont running a marathon on South Hero and Grand Isle (in the middle of Lake Champlain). Haven't been able to run a single mile this year. :( Next year...next year...

That's awesome that you guys still have some!
I get so upset when I think about it. My parents had a lot of them. I remember having boxes of the little 45's too. My brothers and I had soooo many of the classic rock group records. I only have one that stayed with me all these years, it's a signed Ozzy Osbourne record. I met him at a local radio station in 1986, lol.
I wish my brother would have asked me before he got rid of them, I guess he just didn't think they would ever bring them back.
Oooh! I love Ozzy, awesome that you still have that one.
Adi has done the same to me while spring cleaning, organizing, donating. They don't mean any harm, but it's still a bummer.

Next year you will run those beautiful roads again! Hugs!

Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...We have finally made it home after a 4hr delay on the train that left last night...Then we had another 2hrs 30min drive home after that..Soo glad to be home now though...Enjoy the rest of your weekend christmas friends:)
Glad you made it home safely! Have a relaxing weekend :)

Saturday!
Weekend part I.
Now, that guarantees a Good Morning.

So does this:
Days to Halloween: 14 (TWO weeks from TODAY!)
Days to the Season: 27 (Less than 4 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 69 (Under 10 weeks remain!)

(Ah. The numbers. Guaranteed to please!)

Cooler yesterday but still reasonably pleasant.
But it will get colder by the day, starting with this morning where we have awakened to 45 degrees and the promise of near freezing temps in the near future.
What a change!
(And not a good one.)

Well, we are off to the North Carolina State Fair, a traditional pilgramage we make each year at this time.

Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!
Thanks Crown. That chilly weather at least lets us know that the season is almost upon us!

It is sad that we will not see those a/c till May but heck we gotta put them away for our favorite time of year to get here :).

Definitely chilly out there but at least we'll have some sunshine!
Enjoy your three day weekend!
You're right. The sun is still nice out there. It's not terrible really. It's all relative. We're just not used to it yet. I remember one day last winter after we went through what seemed like our countless "bitter" days it actually warmed up to be like 15 degrees in the morning (yeah WARMED up lol) but when I went running I actually didn't feel cold cause I had so gotten used to 0 and below 0 and wind. 15 with a little sun and no wind felt like a heat wave. All relative.

WOW snowflake22...Adrain sure is talented my friend:)..I will post 2 pumpkins for him to carve:p
Thanks, prancer!
He is skilled & very patient with those tough patterns =]
Ha ha! He'll be ready! He can do a witch one for your party ;)

Definitely Charlie Brown, maybe a few others I bought last year for Christmas that I never watched...and I may sneak in Michael Myers of course.
Of course! Excellent choices.
We watched insidious part for you last night, not as good as the first two, but definitely still creepy. Add Dermot Mulroney, not bad at all ;)

I noticed that! I was in Urban Outfitters with my daughter recently and saw that they're selling turntables and vinyl records. I had so many albums from the 70's & 80's at my parents house. My brother got rid of them all without telling me. Breaks my heart!

I still have most of mine (around a thousand of them...) and I also still have my Kenwood stereo system that I bought in 1982 at a Navy PX in Little Creek, Virginia. It has the record player, cassette player, am/fm component and Yes with the big speakers (to my wife's horror....)
