Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 34 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a high temperature of 48 under partly cloudy skies. Brrr. It's supposed to go in to the 20s tonight so yeah it's feeling more like Christmas than Halloween! But it will warm up during the week back to normal maybe even a little above it in to the 60s. Can't wait!
I notice most of us post a little bit later on Sunday morning as opposed to the other 6 days of the week on here. I think that shows we all have a little bit of a "lazy Sunday" and relaxed schedule on Sundays. It's great isn't it? For me it feels like Saturday since I'm off tomorrow. Will be going to IHOP for brunch and just doing a few other things. Looking forward to it but just want to enjoy my Sunday. Hope my Jets beat the Redskins this afternoon. I have a gift card I never used for pizza hut so I think that is going to be dinner tonight. I can't remember the last time I went a full week without eating pizza. Might be about 6 months now! :)
Hope you all have a great Sunday. Rest up today. Enjoy your day with your family and/or friends. Relax. Don't stress. Words to live by? Talk to you guys later!

Good morning Edge!
Keep warm today, it's chilly out there!
Good luck to your Jets!
Hope you have a great day!

Good morning!

Happy Sunday!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good morning everyone!! Haven't stopped by lately but I wanted to say hi!! It's getting chilly and we are getting in the spirit here.. Listened to Christmas music all the way to and from the city yesterday (the kids' idea!) :)

Good to see you and trust you're keeping merry thoughts in your head and in your ears too! I hit a sleepy wall on Friday afternoon so I switched on "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" and it brought me out of my sleepy haze.

Merry Sunday Morning, MMC!

I'm curled up in my sweater-getting ready for church, but boy is it chilly in our apartment! Outside we're just slightly above freezing. Tonight is our first expected frost! I'm REALLY getting into the holiday spirit now, and it's glorious!

My husband and I are going to church this morning, where we'll receive a blessing on our anniversary (our first one is a week from today!!!), so I'm looking forward to that! <3 Afterwards, it's more cleaning, football, and going to a friend's ordination service at 5PM before small group. Sundays are church days for us, but I ALWAYS make time for some football! Wouldn't be fall without it!

Hope everyone has a fabulous day! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Talking about chilly weather and holiday spirit ... Our across the creek neighbours have added green floodlights to their outdoor walkway and I'm just waiting for the festive lights to appear. I saw a blue string of lights on the small cedar tree, but they haven't been keepng them on regularly. They usually turn all their lights over the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend; I'm waiting for them.

Well a few years back I became crazy about exercising (think part of it was getting older freaks me out) and I have to say now I am definitely in the best shape of my life...I know that I can do things physically that I couldn't do 10 years ago when I was in my 20s...the only difference is that it hurts a little bit more after lol ;).

I agree with that; I look at least 10 years younger and often get mistaken for 15 years younger than my actual years and it has to do with the work out glow and the way my body moves with a bit more rhythm and confidence. My posture has improved and I don't huff and puff going up a flight of stairs. It hurts sometimes, but it's worth it. I've dropped 2 clothing sizes since my fitness journey became part of my lifestyle. I just can't run a marathon because my knees can't handle the impact from running and jogging, but all the other fitness exercises and weights I use help keep me moving.

Sunday!
Weekend part II.
(Now, that guarantees a Good Morning, too!)
Count on it:

Days to Halloween: 13 (Now UNDER 2 weeks, Guys!)
Days to the Season: 26 (Moving down toward 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 68 (Closing in on 10 1/2 weeks!)

Keepin' on Truckin', we are!

Well, it was a real nice day to attend the State Fair yesterday.
It started off a bit cool but warmed up quickly into the 60's with plenty of sun and no rain.
Will likely be cooler today, as the predicted cold weather moves in.
In fact, it seems as if it is already here, as we have started off this morning at 41 degrees.

Have a Super Sunday and a Noticeably Nice NFL Day, Folks!

Marathons are overrated. I like to run a good 3 miles every day...but yeah running is not for everyone. It's good you made that lifestyle change. It really is a lifestyle. That's why I think a lot of people struggle with "diets." You just need to really change your life...but you also have to enjoy things you like eating (hence this delicious waffle and bacon I just ate for breakfast).

Thanks Crown! Under 2 weeks yikes...Halloween is really coming. I'm gonna watch more Halloween shows today.

Merry Sunday morning all,
I am rushing off to work soon. I've not had time to catch up on here since yesterday morning so I hope everyone is well. We had a very good day enjoying some down time at home.

Well have a great Sunday all. I can't wait for my work day to be over :)

xx

That is wonderful that you're in the best shape of your life!
I feel that I am too- I find a balance in food and exercise, but don't deprive myself of anything I crave, either.
