Good Morning, Folks.

Back in the saddle and full of appreciation for our own Edge and Brent, the Totally Terrific Tandem, Tag-Team Troubadores.
Nice job with the count, my friends!

And speaking of the count, I'm afraid to look.......but I will anyway:
Days to Halloween: 5 (Can that number really be right??)
Days to the Season: 18 (Barely over 2 1/2 Weeks remain!)
Days to Christmas Day: 60 (UNDER TWO MONTHS!)

(Wow. Just step away for a couple of days, and things really get away from you!)

Great weather at the coast, and the cottage is all winterized/shut down for the season. It should continue cool-moderately warm here for the next few days.
This morning has commenced at 56 degrees in our part of the Great MMC Nation.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
It was an honor to fill in on Saturday Crown. Thanks for the count...hard to believe it's Halloween week!

Thanks Irish. I hope you have a great week!

[

Hope you had a nice weekend away! You are right, mondays after a break is especially tough. I hope things go well at work. Don't worry you will be home soon.

It truly is upon us. Christmas is blossoming everywhere and the whole world is catching up with us :D I don't know how we got to the last week in October! It makes me realise how fast november will go too! I am so glad to be off on Sunday to welcome November by watching christmas movies for the first time this season!

Hope you have an easy and pleasant Monday.
Yeah I've decided that I'm going to start watching Christmas shows on November 1 also (although I will still be watching Halloween shows well into November also).

18 Days to the season! That is so exciting! I remember in January how far away it seemed and how sad we all were and now it's almost upon us.
The January/February doldrums...we know that feeling all too well. It's scary...but hey lets enjoy the hell out of it. Then in Jan/Feb we can remind each other how amazing it was and build towards next Christmas season :).

Good morning everyone, Happy Monday!
I'm having my coffee and flipping through my Taste of Home & Food Network Thanksgiving magazines. I'm going to finalize my menu plan and grocery list today. Can't believe we're in the last of October already, it's so exciting!
Not too much going on here, typical day of errands and chores. I'm going to head out soon and take Maggie for a walk. I need to run to the pet store after. I think I'm going to pick up more Halloween candy while I'm out. Every year I'm afraid of running out of candy but we always end up with a lot left over. At least it doesn't go to waste!
That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Merry Monday! Happy Halloween Week!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I've not had time to catch up with the posts.
The kids are on mid term break and I have this weekend off. It's going to be a great Halloween themed week and what scarier than the dentist this afternoon to kick things off Eeek!

My youngest along with Mr. Festive and I have all got a cold. I am so sick of being sick :D Last week I thought it was finally gone for good.

So much to look forward to this week. I know that everyone is excited! Have a spooky week!

I hope you can chase that cold out of the house very soon. Maybe the goblins will scare it away this Halloween week!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a great weekend in Bellville with the Tom T. Hall Appreciation Day on Saturday! It was a big crowd, and the weather was perfect. I had to deliver a 15 minute speech, and think it came off ok. After the speaker finished and the plaque was dedicated, I was surprised with a recognition plaque of my own. Nice! Later we had a pancake and sausage supper and live music. It was a great evening!

Jacob's band played Saturday afternoon at the fair that was in nearby Statesboro, so I had to miss that show. It was the first one of his gigs that I missed. He didn't mind, though. He got to drive his new car and show it off to all the other kids in the group. LOL

I finally washed my truck yesterday afternoon. It was awful! I washed Nancy's car, too, hoping to win a few points.

I hoe y'all have a great day! :D

Happy Monday!
Hope you had a nice long weekend ;)
Have a great week!

Arrgh ... Now the "check engine" light is on in Mr.'s car ... I'll be spending my day off in the shop tomorrow. I'm bracing for more expensive repairs. At least I'll have you folks there to keep me company.
Oh no! Hope it's an easy fix this time!
I'm going to try to get out of this "expenses group"...lol...furnace guy says we may want to think about a new furnace rather than repair. Furnace is 19 years old - he says life of a furnace is 20. REALLY???? He's supposed to be coming to look at it. xx
