I think Indiana use to be a split state too? - but they aren't anymore. Or maybe they never use to recognized DST...I just know it's only 30 minutes from us & their time was different & always confusing. LOL

Yes I really think they need to make the time zones more in sync.holy moly ..!

Thanks Holiday. It is pouring rain so it looks Bonfire night will be a bit of a wash out. To make up for it I am ordering in chinese take away LOL! I had a better night and knock wood feeling improved today also. I hope this is it and I'm on the mend. I had a telephone appointment with my Dr. and she suggests give it a couple days if I am starting to feel better. If things get worse or I am the same in a couple of days then a visit will be in order.

How is sister in law by the way? I meant to ask.

Thanks for the positive thoughts and prayers everyone. They must be working because (fingers crossed ) I am starting to feel better and the cough is improving. THANK YOU!

Ya know I used to buy Chinese food and I just fell out of the habit. Making me think about getting some soon.

Good morning, all! We seem to be in the middle of Indian Summer. There was a very heavy mist this morning; my Dad used to tell me that Indian Summer got it's name because the mists looked like smoke from Indian campfires. It's nice when I see stuff that reminds me of my Dad.

Awe - sorry to hear it's a wash out! But at least you can enjoy your Chinese take out!! Hope it's yummy! So glad you are feeling better! I hope a doc visit won't be necessary! Continued prayers!

That is a lovely memory. We are having the warmest november here also with lost of dense fog and mist on mornings and evenings. Our temps aren't as warm as yours though.

I like to find reminders of my Dad, too. Mine are usually related to hunting together, or woodworking in his shop.

It's one of the reasons I like Star Trek so much as my dad and I always watched it together when I was little.

Thank you both! I will keep you posted. Hopefully she will do better for home health than for family. She has been a "loner" for many many years - she lived vicariously through my brother. But now she doesn't have him to depend on anymore. I just hope she's going to be ok. xx
