Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob had a gig yesterday morning, and Elizabeth had Nutcracker practice yesterday afternoon, so we had a pretty busy day. I got home in time to pickup a 5 gallon bucket of pecans. I hope to pickup that much more after church, and before we go back to Nutcracker practice. Run, run, run!

It's in the 30's this morning! I'm on the couch with a blanket, a cup of coffee and Lulu beside me. I still haven't adjusted to the change in time, doggone it. I was up at 5AM. Rats. LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! :D
Good Morning, Brad~
Happy Sunday! Stay cozy today!
Hope you and your family have a blessed day~

Good morning Brad, Happy Sunday!
I have Maggie snuggled up next to me and I'm drinking my coffee too, such a cozy way to start the day :)
Hope you have a great day as well!
Sounds perfect! <3
Give her a hug for me.
xx

I hope you all have a good Sunday, MMC.
My day started off a little weird with a call from my mom, telling me that my grandfather passed away earlier this morning. We may head over there a little later. He had been ill for quite some time and reached the admirable age of 91, so it feels like a conclusion rather than a sad end of a life. But it's strange, still.
Good Morning, Coen~
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather.
Keeping you & your family in my thoughts & prayers. God bless.

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 3 **

Good Morning, Friends of the Holidays and Christmas Experts.

Yes, indeed. Don't sell yourselves short.
Who knows more about Christmas than we do? We who live it the entire 365 days of the year!
(A year which is rapidly slipping away.)

Today's numbers mark our progress:
Days to Thanksgiving: 11 (SINGLE DIGITS from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 40 (Nearly down into the 30's!)

Chilly weather continued here yesterday, and this morning is even colder, at 40 degrees.
But I take heart, as the weather service promises a warming trend during the course of this week.

Have a Super Sunday, Folks.
(I'll be rooting for the Panthers to be 9-0 after the dust settles in Tennessee this afternoon!)
Thanks, Crown~
Have a wonderful day!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! It's currently 40 degrees under sunny skies. We are expecting a forecast high temperature today of 57 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Can't ask for much nicer weather than that for the middle of November.
Anyway, already in to the 3rd day of the season? Wow...I feel like in a week from now things will start going crazy because we will head into Thanksgiving week in the USA. For us that's pretty much the start of Christmas 24/7 even from Christmas-haters (Hey who could hate Christmas? :)). I'm enjoying my Sunday morning here having my waffle and bacon. I plan on going grocery shopping later and watching some Christmas shows. I also am trying to zone in on what I'm going to buy for Christmas.
Have a great Sunday everyone!
Good Morning, Edge~
Happy Sunday! Enjoy the beautiful weather!

Thanks. :) Have a good Sunday.

Good Morning, MMC~
Merry Sunday!!!!
Adrian & I had a fun day yesterday. We took Harlowe for a walk in a neighborhood we're thinking of building in. We had fun exploring! It was sunny & gorgeous, about 56 degrees.
Then we came home & decorated some more! We're almost done, just going to do a small portion of my village yet. I don't want to do too much, since we may have to start packing sooner than later. And it's such a glorious undertaking!
The plan for today is Christmas movies, baking, and football. GO, PACK, GO!!
Hope you all have a Christmassy day with your loved ones!

Sounds like a fun Sunday!

It's hard to see parents getting older and having a hard time getting used to new fysical circumstances. It's good to read she is thinking in possibilities! Take care of each other!

We had a rough start to our shopping journey. My mom asked me to bring her wheelchair considering she can only make it around her large city block once with her walker, she figured she'd tucker quickly if we were at the Mall or downtown. Heading down her front steps, I warned her about the frost and to becareful.

I was carrying her folded wheelchair down the steps and wouldn't you know it - I slipped on an icy patch. I hit the third last step down and slid down the last few onto the flat ground, still clutching the wheelchair. My mom was only two steps down and holding the railing and she's the one who managed to get down safely. It took me about five minutes to assess my situation and get up. She invited me to go back inside to tend to anything or perhaps cancel our plans, but I knew it would be better if I kept moving rather than sitting still. If I didn't work out regularly, I would not have gotten up and carried on so soon after a fall like that.

We went to one of our favourite novelty shops and spent over an hour searching for a few special gifts and she picked up a few homemade preserves and pancake mixes for herself.
We had lunch and then I was ready to pack it in as my body was starting to ache.

I drove around to the back door instead of using the front steps. She poked fun at me for that and I appreciated the humouur. I carried her wheelchair (was not used) inside and we met my dad with the story of the slip and fall. I said, "I was telliing mom to becareful because of the frost and then promptly demonstrated just how slippery those steps were by landing on my keister." All three of us were laughing about it.

Late yesterday and this morning, I realized how much I jarred my entire body. I have a few small blood blisters (from the wheelchair pinching me) and swelling in a few places making it hard to get comfortable in a seated position, but only one bruise on my lower back and some scrapes on my elbows. I did a bunch of stretching before going to bed and again this morning. I realize how much worse it could have been.

Grace and poise 0 / originality 9.

Pleased I found gifts for my brother and his girlfriend and my mom found some items to cross off her list so aside from my mishap, we had a lovely time.

I hope you all have a good Sunday, MMC.

Good morning, Snowflake! I love that picture! That's what Lulu looks like when she was a baby.
