We used to have the same troubles. Jacob would tough it out, but Elizabeth would fight like a cornered cat! A trip to Toys-R-Us always made it better, though.

I know the feeling Bradmac...As you said a trip to the toy shop and its all forgotten about well for another year anyway

For those of you who have been wanting snow and haven't gotten it yet ... there's actually a website that will ship a box of snow to anywhere in the U.S. Can you believe it?

The last 2 winters I wanted to ship the snow to them.

my son (about 4 years old I think ) once came out of room after his shot and loudly announced to room full of mom's and kids waiting for theirs "BOY THAT SURE HURT !!!!" I got a lot of not friendly looks LOL

Well after a very warm start to November, it's all suddenly changed. Blizzards, Arctic gales,storms and a cold snap are moving in and we are expecting our first snow tonight. Brrrr it's currently 1C. I can't wait for everyone to be safe at home for Christmassy evening plans.

I watched The Christmas Secret last night. I only saw it once before. I really like it. Not sure which movie we are watching tonight yet.

I hope everyone is having a good Friday and ready for a festive weekend! Good luck to all making thanksgiving plans. Room for one more??

Merry Morning MMC! Starting off the morning chilly! We've had our windows open the last few days and I think we're getting to the point where we'll need to close them tonight! Finally feels like Thanksgiving is now less than a week away. I completed one menu and am still working on a few items for the other menu for next week. So exciting! I can't wait to be off work.

I'll have a full day of work today, but then I'll be free for most of the weekend until 3:30 on Sunday when I have to go into work for a few hours. It's ok though, because I'll be able to relax starting Wednesday night with time off all the way through next Monday!!!!

Weekend and then short week, here we come!!!

Good Friday Morning MMC! Friday sounds really good right about now. Hard to believe that this is the last weekend before Thanksgiving. I have a lot that I want to do also this weekend. I just hope that I can get to all of it while still having time to relax and take it in. I try to get ideas all year what to buy for Christmas and then it feels like when we get close to Thanksgiving I start freaking out a little and questioning what to actually buy . But it's all good and all fun.
I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and gets safely to their weekend ahead!

empty Christmas light boxes have to go back to storage
Got appointment on the 30th to take Penny to vet for shots and exam, and then will make appointment to have her spayed.

I've got a lot to Mon, Tues and Wed next week at work before getting to my Thanksgiving break but it will be well worth it. I'm going to come in early those days so that I can leave early Wednesday and start my holiday break.
