Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good afternoon, everyone! We do not celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but tomorrow we will officially open the new building of our school. That will be a festive happening that I am really looking forward to. I am feeling less tired today and the students were awesome.

Good morning everyone!
Happy Thanksgiving Eve!
Lots to do today, prepping, cooking, baking, cleaning, etc. I also need to take a ride to the liquor store, can't forget the wine! I better get off of this computer and get started. I'll pop back in when I can!

I know that feeling....so much to do!!! (makes me happy once again that I'm not hosting this year. Nice to have a break! ) LOL! I hope it all goes very well! It sounds so festive & yummy!!! Your beautiful house will be smelling amazing soon!!! Don't forget the wine!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! The warm up continues today with a high near 60 degree's. Yay!!! More cooking for me today too. I need to make the baked corn, deviled eggs, macaroni salad, cole slaw, pea salad, bake the pies, make up the stuffing, and get the turkey ready. You would think I was feeding an army. It's only going to be 6 of us though. LOL!!!! They are all picky eaters though. So you have to make enough sides to give everyone at least 2 or 3 things that they will eat. At least there should be enough leftovers to make it through the weekend. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Thanksgiving leftovers are the best! Everything sounds so good! I want to come to your house again today!!! Have fun!!!!

Well after days of nagging, I am happy to say Mr. Rose finally bought the turkey late last night and preseasoned it all by himself I may add.LOL
Today I will spend some time prepping and chopping vegetables ECT.
Then tomorrow morning we get up and put it altogether.

Afternoon all,
I feel like I can't catch my breath these days, I have so much little things to do. I can't imagine how busy you guys must be having Thanksgiving in the mix too!!!

I put up the window lights a couple days ago but when I switched them on they were blue which was not what I purchased LOL! I tried to like it but it didn't go with any of the other lights and Mr festive wasn't keen . It was funny though as I was not expecting it when I turned them on! I bought two sets that day so I must have checked one set twice and unfortunately didn't realise until they were up LOL!

Anyway.... hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving Eve!

Thank you Festive. Yes I am really worried because he is so young and can't tell me what he is feeling. I hope he doesn't get worse also because tomorrow I have to take him to a hospital appointment for which we've been waiting a long time and is rather important since we have to meet the surgeon who has to perform surgery on our baby when he's around 1 year old.

Prayers for you little guy K.G. and for you too!! I hope he is better quick & you are able to meet the surgeon. Keep us posted! We'll be thinking of you! (((Hugs)))

I remember last year we had some snow on Thanksgiving Eve (had to clean the car off when I left in the early afternoon from work). No snow this year just going to get milder (it's been pretty chilly till now this week).

Yes, we do. Rain and snow starting before dawn tomorrow, some sleet or freezing rain possible, turning to all snow in the afternoon- highs in the low 30's.
