Hey World! Happy Day after Christmas!!! Boxing Day here in the UK and things remain festive until after New Year. All our decorations will be up until 12th night (which I can never get right - is it the 5th or 6th of January?!) Anyway, the festive season is still in full swing here. I can never quite understand why the American radio stations just quit Christmas as soon as the 25th has passed and it's quite depressing seeing people write that their decorations are all down by the 26th - why???!!!!!!!! I start work tomorrow in that I have a wedding at 3pm and then back into the office on Monday - Thursday then off again until a week on Tuesday. There's so much to look forward to - plans to make, trips to take, playlists to organise........it's non-stop. I honestly don't think that 364 days will be enough time............ :)

I completely agree!!!! I'm celebrating for the FULL 12 days! Music is on and tree lights as well! We will clean up after the 12 days. :) MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope you all had a great day! We did nothing all day except organize the house and lounge around...very relaxing! I am watching a Hallmark Christmas movie now..A Christmas Detour. Have a good night!View attachment 17886
Sounds like a lovely day!
Enjoy the movie!
Hugs =]

Watching the Washington/Eagles game tonight--GO WASHINGTON! :) Having a LOVELY evening at my parents'. Last one before driving back home tomorrow. Bittersweet but also fun knowing I'll see my husband again! Work will be less busy than December, and I'll even get Friday off! :)

Hope you all are having a good evening--Merry Christmas!!

Sounds so lovely SnowflakeMom! I hope your Christmas was absolutely wonderful!

I'm back from my Uncle's. He made lasagna and had cake...yeah more food. You know you're still an introvert by nature because when you're in a group of about 12 people you see certain people who 3 hours later are still the "lead" of the convo and you're sitting there 75% of the time sorta just wanting to get a break from being in a group of people. Overall, it was good seeing them. It's scary to see how my young cousins who I remember being born are now graduating high school in 2016. Scary.

Glad you're having a lovely time!
Enjoy the game!
Have a safe trip home tomorrow~
Merry Christmas!

Good Saturday Morning MMC! It's December 26th so we're all depressed right? Well I hope you all aren't because I am NOT. I used to get the PCB's years ago until I started checking in on this website and now that I'm a daily member here I do not have the PCB's. Of course, a small part of me feels sad that Christmas has ended but a much bigger part of me is EXCITED to start planning and thinking about Christmas 2016. I've got a bunch of post-Christmas thoughts that I plan on posting somewhere around these forums today. I'm glad it's the weekend and I can sorta wind down a little today. I'm getting my car inspected this morning and have some usual Saturday errands. I'm going to my Uncle's for dinner so some more holiday fun.
I hope you all have a great DECEMBER 26th! Christmas may have ended but that just means it's on it's way again.

No PCB's here.
I am completely enjoying my lights and trees, and especially my family. I will try to avoid them, but they will be inevitable at some point. My aunt will have my family's Christmas celebration tomorrow.
We are still in the 12 days of Christmas, so I will continue to say: Merry Christmas!

For me, PCBs will probably come along when I'm back in the everyday world, where most everybody is through with Christmas and seem to be glad of it. Packing away decorations is sobering, too, but for me they lose some of their cheerful influence after the New Year. Then it's time to pack them away to recharge their magic for the next Christmas---which, I remind myself, is already on the way.
New Year's Day is always the most depressing day of the year to me. The rest of the world is done with Christmas and I don't want to let it go. I always keep my lights on and decorations up until the very least January 8.

Good evening,

We spent today trying to snag a few deals, at the mall, no luck, but at least they were still playing Christmas music. I did score a new Bruins Winter Classic hat with some of my Christmas money.
Just relaxing now watching a Christmas movie I have never seen before. Scrooge with Albert Finney.

Goodnight, my dear Christmas friends, and Merry Christmas.

Sounds like you got a cool hat, nice.
Enjoy the movie!
My family's favorite version- when we were growing up, we would watch it after Christmas dinner.
"The Minister's Cat" is great!
Merry Christmas!

One more thing, I saw not Valentine's day candy, but Easter candy in a store today.
Santa is still probably groggy from his flight, and the Bunny is already making his move. o_O
Sheesh, that was fast. Sounds about right, though. :(
