Good Morning!
Christmas Season 2015 goes on. Hope you are still enjoying it.

But get your posts in while you can, Guys. This thread shuts down promptly at 12:00 AM January 1, in preparation for the launch of "Christmas Countdown - 2016", when we start it all over again with a new year!

Looking forward to another 365 -- er -- 366 days of gleeful counting!
Thanks Crown. Hope you are enjoying your break before the 2016 count begins!

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Boy I ate too much food the last few days but that's what Christmas is about isn't it? Oh I know it's not about food :) but that's just a part of it. My uncle and aunt made lasagna last night after I had lasagna the day before on Christmas. Needless to say I don't want anymore pasta for the next several days. But it was good seeing them. I woke up this morning LATE (for me) and that always happens around December 26th/27th when the post Christmas tiredness hits me. I should be fine now to go back to work on Monday for only 2 days before...5 days off in a row. Last time I had that many days off in a row? Believe it or not was last year December 24-December 28th. A whole year. My sister said she may go to NYC with her boyfriend for New Years Eve. She asked my brother if he wanted to go and he rolled his eyes up lol. She didn't even bother asking me cause she knows I won't go. If they were going to stay local I might have went out but since she isn't I will most likely stay home and relax and enjoy counting down to 2016 with the great people on MMC.
Have a great last day of Christmas week (hey that sounds kind of sad doesn't it?).

Good Morning MMC !!

last Sunday of 2015...is it me or did this year seem to just fly by ?
Anyone have any special plans for new years eve ?

We are off to church in about a half hour and then home to just relax and enjoy recreated left overs and enjoy a few games..

Enjoy your day everyone !!!

2015 was a blur...but each year seems to go faster than the previous year...which is scary.

I see that many are going back to work tomorrow.
Here in Norway Christmas starts on Christmas Eve, and it last for the next 13 days.
So we have Christmas Vacation until January 4th
Lots of food, goodies, relaxing, dinners, family gatherings + + + every day

Anyone have any special plans for new years eve ?
New Years Eve is also a BIG day here.
Lots of people, food (turkey) and lots and lots of fireworks at midnight.
We are spending NYE here, and Im making turkey =)

Christmas in Wisconsin's countryside yesterday ❤️
It's so beautiful and peaceful there.

Believe it or not, I could smell snow in the wee hours and I looked outside and there it was covering the lawn with a light blanket (less than an inch). My husband said we'll have to plug our cars in at night now as it will dip down to double digits at night. Waiting for my birds to visit the feeder, O'Malley the cat is waiting too.

Hey everyone! I wonder if anyone else celebrates the 12 days of Christmas? I definitely keep celebrating all the way through January 6th or however many days that is! I hope everyone has a great day and continues to enjoy the joy of the season!

I don't pack up the decorations until Jan. 7th. (The 12th night falls on the 6th).

It was so warm that I have a couple of bug bites on my arm from when we walked around the neighborhood looking at Christmas lights. Unreal! But I really enjoyed walking around in the mild weather. I'm not missing the snow and ice much!

I had a shower with a small spider. Sorry, he didn't get to spend Boxing Day with his family. I don't mind if they stay in the corner and do their jobs of catching other critters, but I refuse to share my shower with spiders.

I really wish the rest of the U.S. had the same views!

Enjoy your celebrations ❤️

That must've been magical!
Hope the birds arrive soon!

Merry Saturday/Boxing Day everyone!! My PCB comes from the fact that for the past 6 years I've been trying to find traditions that fulfill me like my old ones did (major life changing event in '09). Still working on it, but coming home to MMC, helping with Kringle Radio, and starting a new tradition with my sister is helping! Also, the fact that we have Family Chirstmas tonight on the Mrs side of the family is helping keep my PCB at bay! Thanks everyone for being such good Christmas friends and helping me celebrate Christmas and keep the PCB's at bay! See you all around the forums!!

I get hit with a touch of it when I wake up on Christmas Day and I haven't magically travelled back in time to when I was 7 years old and feeling such jubilation and wonder with the excitement of Christmas morning. I wish I could go back for real instead of just in my memory, only for a few hours to celebrate with family members who are gone and those who moved away.

Christmas 2016 is on the way; stay jolly!

Morning!!! What has everybody got planned for today (don't ANYBODY say taking down their tree!)? I'm working this afternoon - somebody is getting married at 3 so will have to get my behind in gear and dig out fancier clothes than jeans and a hoodie!!! Have a great day whatever you're doing :)

Today is chill time with a bit of housework on the side. I return to work tomorrow after 9 days off, I'm sure it will feel like a longer than usual day; at least it's a short week.

Have a great last day of Christmas week (hey that sounds kind of sad doesn't it?).

While I don't struggle socially, I don't like large crowds that make it impossible to manouveur. I never particpated in "slam dancing" on purpose so I wouldn't like being so close to strangers and their germs. I imagine I'll hit NYC at some point in years to come, if only to see the Christmas shop window displays and take in a show; maybe the Nutcracker.

My husband and I celebrate New Year's Eve on our own. If we go to bed early, I'll catch an hour or two of sleep and pop back here to ring in the New Year and greet the new countdown.

Good morning everyone. We have a wintery mix going on outside. Rained all day yesterday but looks like it's transitioning to freezing rain/sleet type situation. Believe it or not, we had tornadoes in the state yesterday! But not like they did in Texas. A horrible situation for those folks in Garland. So sad.
I hope you all have a wonderful day. We are still trying to figure out where to put all my daughter's new toys. :) My son got lots of video games, so no need to find space for those. But the toys...they take up so much room!
Merry Sunday!

I went over to the Mall yesterday.

I was on a mission to buy what I wanted from Davids Tea and Marie Claire (clothing store) with the gift cards my husband gave me. Bought a few groceries and cleaning supplies and left without any Christmas stuff.

I still have plenty of gift wrap and festive tissue, a box of greeting cards and Scotch Tape. Nothing jumped out shouting, "take me home".

It was a nice vacation from work and the time spent with family was fun, but the time spent here always brings great joy because we share such a wonderful bond that stems from our love of all things Christmas.

We've chatted with each other, prayed for one another, greeted new friends, cheered for our good news posts, welcomed new furbabies, bid farewell to others, shared some film clips and musical loves, recipes, etc. and for us the Christmas spirit remains dear all year.

Joy is another word that says thanks with gratitude in giving and receiving with a merry heart; I join you in opening the MMC doors wide to let the merry spirit reside.

Stay safe out there, friend!

Praying for all those affected in Texas.

Glad your kids are loving their gifts, good luck with the space issue :p

Hope you & your family have a blessed day!
