Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! I woke up at 3 o'clock again (in the middle of the night) and watched a Christmas movie – farewell Mr. Kringle – so glad I don't have to work today! I'll be heading to my friends house around lunch time to hang out for the day – we will exchange presents and I'm bringing lunch! I might need a nap before then! My high school friends all came over last night for supper with their hubbys – everyone was gone by 10:15… We must be getting old! LOL

I do not like it when I wake so early, but sometimes it happens so we make the best of it. As for the calling it quits early, there really is not better place than a comfortable warm bed with a good book, why would you not want to go there early ?

Still enjoying Christmas Season 2015? I am.
(I've even still been listening to a few Christmas songs in the car!)

Weather terrible. Rain that just won't quit. Same prediction all the way to Friday, at which point we loose the warm temps and approach the freezing mark.
In the late fall/winter around here that's the way it often goes -- you either get warm weather or dry conditions but not both at the same time.

Goodness, yes! My 100% Christmas iTunes library will be in place until after New Year's Day. I just can't give up my Christmas music yet. I will keep a few tracks in my post-season library for a little while.
 
Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a cold day here with a high in the middle 30's. Luckily all of the rain has finally moved out but unfortunately the gusty winds remain. Not to much going on here today. Just going to do some stuff around the house. I hope everyone stays safe in the nasty weather and has a GREAT DAY!!!!

2015 is almost done, seems like just a short time ago we started this thread and now it is almost ready to close.
The storm has mostly passed leaving snow and ice in its path. Still getting some rain which means most of the snow will go too.
Nothing to do until I go to work this afternoon at 1, unless I clean the kitchen or start some packing for the move....nah, I think I will just do nothing ! Sounds like more fun.

Slippery and slushy out today ... snow, sleet, rain---a little bit of everything. I drove in to work, but if it had been a normal workday with normal traffic volume, I might have worked from home. It's not a good day to stop short for people trying to beat traffic lights and dashing out into intersections just as you get to them.

Good morning!
Happy Tuesday!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to do some shopping today with the girls, they want to use some of their gift cards. I also need to stop at the supermarket to pick up a couple of things, I'm making fried chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house, still trying to get the house in order. If I have time I would like to head to Hallmark to check out the ornaments that are 50% off. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

I got stuck trying to leave our development, took 4 tries to get out. The plows had come through on the highway, and blocked us in. No plows in our neighborhood, even though we pay an extra fee for them :rolleyes:

Ack! That's not good! Before four tries, I would be back in my own driveway and gearing up to work from home ... but not everybody has that option.

The temps are supposed to rise later in the day, so the slush should be more sloppy and less slippery for the drive home, I hope I hope.
