Good Morning!!! A very Rainy day here today ... going to start clearing out some of the gifts under the tree today. Got to do laundry so might as well include all the new clothes everyone got for Christmas. Plan on spending the afternoon working on my holiday binder and watch a couple Christmas movies. Stay safe, warm and dry and have a great day.

Good morning,

Just starting to get up for the day, been laying in bed relaxing reading the news and stuff online.
It is a winter wonderland this morning, I just love the winter, whenever it snows it brings me back to Christmas. The PCB's feel like they are starting to creep in, I feel that hallow sense in my heart that the season is slipping away, I will continue to enjoy it as thoroughly as possible, but it is inevitable every year.
I head to work for 4, I will be rushing this inventory. :D
I will be back throughout the day.

Talk to you all soon.
I love the snow, too! (just don't like driving in it)
Sending hugs to you, to help combat those PCB's.
Have a great day!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a cold day here with a high in the middle 30's. Luckily all of the rain has finally moved out but unfortunately the gusty winds remain. Not to much going on here today. Just going to do some stuff around the house. I hope everyone stays safe in the nasty weather and has a GREAT DAY!!!!
good morning Made, it is getting warmer here too, just rain now and the snow is melting, I have not been out on the roads yet so do not know how they are but traffic appears to be moving well.
Have a great day too !

Good Morning, Minta!
It sounds like you'll have a cozy day inside planned.
Enjoy working on your holiday binder, and watching Christmas movies.
Have a blessed day!

Slippery and slushy out today ... snow, sleet, rain---a little bit of everything. I drove in to work, but if it had been a normal workday with normal traffic volume, I might have worked from home. It's not a good day to stop short for people trying to beat traffic lights and dashing out into intersections just as you get to them.
not fun to drive in, I am hoping ours will be nice and clear by the time I leave for work.
I find it so scary when roads are this way and people just step off the curb as if you could stop on a dime for them.

Good morning!
Happy Tuesday!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to do some shopping today with the girls, they want to use some of their gift cards. I also need to stop at the supermarket to pick up a couple of things, I'm making fried chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house, still trying to get the house in order. If I have time I would like to head to Hallmark to check out the ornaments that are 50% off. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!
xx
good morning HMG !
have fun with the shopping. That reminds me, I have a gift card to use too for the shopping channel.
Sounds like a good dinner, what time ? I can bring the wine.

LOL I start using my headphones about now or only using the speakers when I'm home alone. I try to be respectful of those around me who do not share my obsession, lest I drive them insane. LOL

I too have gone the headphone route. No one else in the house, except sometimes my 6 year old wants to listen to Christmas music. I will listen to Christmas music off and on all year long. Mostly in secret... except to my friends here.:)

My husband is actually surprised if he hears me listening to anything else throughout the year ;)

It is 78 degrees here.. another record broken.. I am going to take down the outside lights today. Just too warm to not take advantage of it. but, already I am looking at a plan on how to do them next year... Yabba!
That is crazy, Binger.
It's in the 20's here, and we got quite a bit of snow overnight.

It definitely is great weather to take them down in, though.

:tree:

Wishing you all a Merry Tuesday and hoping those of you who have to contend with weather and driving conditions are safe and warm.

My commute this morning was harrowing - I tripped over a pitbull who was chewing on a labrador Christmas ornament that a certain cat had batted out of the tree while I was enroute to my laptop at the dining room table.

This caused me to have to detour to the kitchen to wash off the pitbull slobber from said ornament and while there, thought it was a good time to mix up a breakfast smoothie. I set the blender cup open on the counter, and went for a black Sharpie marker to touch up the Labrador ornament.

When I returned, a thief had chosen to partake of my breakfast drink. Since there were no other humans on the premises, it had to have been one of the seven furry quadrapeds. The smallest dog is immediately eliminated from the interrogation line up since she can't reach the counter. The labrador is excused because she's regal and would never lower herself to snitch from the counter. Her son might, but he gave me his floppy eared sad face which conveyed, "I woulda, but Mommy said, 'NO!'"

The pitbull looked at me like I was insane, as if to say, "You know perfectly well Chia seeds give me indigestion." Sorry, right. What was I thinking?

The Catahoula just stared a hole through me, indignant that I would suggest he would ever partake of something lacking chicken or beef if he was going to go to the trouble of stealing it.

That just left the cats, one of whom wouldn't touch human food with a ten foot pole and the other... well... the other has white facial markings and as he looked up at me as if to deny these outrageous accusations, his white facial markings were now purplish from the blueberry stains. Interestingly enough it's the same cat who originally batted down the labrador ornament.

I think it was a diabolial themed plot targeting the Labrador. So sad. In retrospect - I think I may also spend too much time alone working from home that I have this level of exchange with my furry companions. I'm becoming the crazy Christmas cat lady. ;-)

Have a great day all! :-D

Good Morning MMC...hope you are having a good week so far! We got a little bit of snow and sleet overnight so it is a little dreary out there now. Not too much planned for today...yesterday my hubby and I took the girls shopping to use a few of their gift cards. My dishwasher broke so we got a new one and they are delivering it between 3 &5 today so I think we are going to hang out at home. I am going to make corned beef and cabbage for dinner.
Have a happy Tuesday!View attachment 17991
Love new kitchen stuff even if it is to replace something which broke! :-D

Hello Christmas friends...Hope everyone had a fantastic christmas :)

Merry Christmas Prancer. We are keeping Christmas till New year and still carrying on with celebrations. The reality is sinking in with each day though. Hey, not to worry remember we were like this last year and look how fast the season came. It will be here again soon. The first few weeks are the hardest I think until we all settle back into routines. Hoep you all had a lovely time with all the family!
