Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning!
Happy Pine's Day!
I'm going shopping again today, I'm looking for a new year's eve outfit. We're going out to eat at my favorite Italian restaurant tomorrow night. I'm also going to stop at Hallmark to look at the ornaments, I never made it there yesterday. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day ♥

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! I'm off of work for 5 days in a row now for the first time since well since last year believe it or not. It feels weird like I actually have time to just relax a bit in between doing some stuff. I don't even know what day of the week it is this time of year. I think once New Years comes on Friday I'll get back on more of a schedule. How's everyone's hump day going? My brother leaves for San Diego today which is kind of sad because Christmas really is over then. But he plans to return in June and then in December again for Christmas 2016. Crazy to even think about right now but we're all a little crazy on here (in a great way of course).
I hope you all have a great last pines day of the year! I'm gonna try to enjoy this first day off for me.

Sorry to hear your brothers leaving already! Always sad! Hope you're enjoying your first day off!

Still the rain. And the warmth.
Both will be gone in a couple of days.

Still enjoying the final days of 2015.....and this thread.
No record set this year but a great one, nonetheless.

Well, now! Carl is ready at the 'Pines.
Last open house of the year and no doubt a sentimental one.
And, Carl has announced that, as might be expected, the 'Pines will be open to midnight on the 31st to ring in the new year in style.
(Now, just what WAS that camel doing with those fireworks??)

I agree with everyone, hate to see the season end and all the decorations come down, house looks so bare afterwards. We always take ours down on new years day, but I have to go to my brothers so it will have to wait, van needs fixing first.

off to work in an hour, supposed to be busy today and tomorrow with new years eve party's to get ready for. But that is OK since busy means the shift goes by quickly.
My son is finally going to see the new Star Wars movie with his best friend tonight, he is very excited.
So I will head over to the pines for some of Carl's famous punch and some fired twinkies

Adrian & I have some wonderful news! We are now under contract on our new home!
It should be completed late summer 2016, we are very excited!

My tradition is to leave all my lights on outdoors until after my birthday, which is January 7. I shut them off for the final time on Jan. 8. Indoors they stay on until they come down which is usually the second, third, or fourth week of Jan. Depending how bad the PCB's hit me, I try to get them down by the third week though.
Everything stays on past my birthday mainly because as a child I use to beg my parents every year to leave the tree and decorations up for my birthday. I only remember that happening once growing up.

Just relaxing listening to some Christmas music now, I didn't get my lazy butt out of bed until 11:15 this morning. That rarely happens to me, but it's still Christmas vacation and I am enjoying it to the mostest.
We are heading to the movies in a little bit, my wife, JP, and my SIL are going to go see Hunger Games, while LC and I are going to go see Daddy's Home.
I hope you all are having a good Wednesday thus far.
I'll be back later.

I am really enjoying visiting MMC more than once a day again, the last few months were so hectic.
