Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening,

LC and I saw the movie Daddy's Home, it was very disappointing. Is it me or did I miss something with the marketing of it, it looked like a family film. I am sitting with my 7 year old and all the swearing and subject matter just was very uncomfortable. I don't swear in front of my children, and he knows better than to repeat it, but it should not have been marketed like that.
We went to Uno's for dinner, I love me some Chicago deep dish pizza although it is nowhere near as deep dish pizza in Chicago.
Watching Christmas Vacation for the first time this year now, I don't know why it has taken this long, I love this movie.

Finally made it to Hallmark today, I bought a few Keepsake ornaments and my Christmas cards for next year. I just love that store. I especially love their after Christmas sales!

What a disappointment! I would not have expected that from the previews! Sorry it was a let down. Glad you enjoyed the pizza! Good night xmas!!!!!

I did it right the second time! Had just enough pretzels left to do a second batch.

We did a dress rehearsal for tomorrow night---watched movies downstairs on the projector until 1 a.m.!

I have been to an occasional movie that did not live up to its previews at all, always disappointing. Also found out that theatre will refund your $$$ if you walk out in first min of the movie and tell them why and stomp your feet and be really indignant.....also tell them you personally know mayor Brad of the north pole

We are enjoying our week in the mountains, even if it is raining. It's hard to put into words how much I love it here!

Today is my last day as mayor of Bellville. I wish I had done more for my city, but I have confidence in the next mayor. No more parades! :( ;)

I have y'all have a great NYE!

I love being in the mountains too, that is the one part about not living in BC any more that I really miss.
The whole world is giving you a farewell party for your last day of mayor, you did a great job and I am quite sure your city will be missing you.
