They ended up giving her a few more vaccines that were coming up, and listened to her heart and lungs. They didn't think they sounded any worse, which is great. But also said allergies don't cause dogs to cough like they can with us. So, we may start her back on furosemide to see if that helps. I know it's not good for them to be on it often, and for longer periods, so I may give it a day or two and see how she does without it.
They also suggested shorter walks for her, which makes me sad, because she lives for them and hates to cut them short. She actually stands still when you try to go towards home and is stubborn Must take after her Mom.

I'm glad her heart and lungs do not sound worse. Praying her cough improves! I know how difficult it is to cut back on the exercise, it breaks my heart too. Keeping the both of you in my thoughts (((hugs)))

I am exhausted!!
Never made it in to the office-punch list started at 8:00 am. We anticipated it would go quickly, guess not Made it home a little after 6:00.

We had our pizza, and I will probably not make it much longer than our walk tonight.

well the focaccia bread was a flop, will try again tomorrow.
Put another batch of sourdough in pans that will be ready to bake in the morning and delivered shortly after that.
Spring is finally here and my allergies already kicking in. grateful for extra strength reactine that only need to be taken once a day !
Penny found some of my sons socks again is carrying them around the house.She meows really loud when she has one and with a sock stuffed in her mouth it sounds really funny.
But with the BBQ done, my well fed guests gone home I am about ready to curl up with a good book for awhile.

Thank God! It' s been a long week, and I'm exhausted.

Another week down...now a weekend to recover.

Well the good news is you have another 7 months to recover (hard to believe it's already been 5 months since we were talking about it with you).

I am about 2.5 months away from beginning my prep work on my orders and how to plan for the flow rate of thousands of birds for the holiday. Not much time to prepare.

I do it for peace of mind, to be completely ready, and have more than one plan to execute the whole season. I have done it for so many years now, you would think I would have it down pat. The one thing I have learned is every year is different.
