Merry Friday Eve my friends!!! Hope everyone's morning is off to a good start!!! We have rain here - boo! Good thing we had the cookout last night! Which was very nice by the way. The weather was just perfect! The wings were amazing, the cream cheese jalapeno burgers, totally yummy! I didn't try the chicken breasts...we have plenty of those leftover. Almost everybody went for the wings & jalapeno burgers. Gracie even crawled up in a chair, sitting next to Emma, the Amish lady. It was too cute!

Everyone stayed til about 9:30 - I ran Mom & Emma home & then our neighbors walked over & we sat outside til after 11! Fun night!! Loved the weather!!

I'm still getting the headaches & migraines but the good news is my test results were normal. Not sure what's causing me to get them so often but at least there doesn't seem to be a serious underlying cause.

Poor Gracie, I'm glad she's alright! I was always afraid of the dogs falling out of my bed. Every night I put the pillow shams and accent pillows from my bed on the floor, all along the sides of the bed. Neither one of them ever fell out but I figured if they did, at least they'd land on something soft!

Crown here back from the coast. All is ship-shape and one or two more trips over there will be it until the rental season starts in early June.

A big MMC-STYLE THANKS to Edge for the fantastic job he did filling in on count duties.

Will be back in the saddle here tomorrow morning --- and just look how close our next Milestones are looming!!

I had a fun night at dinner with my friends, lots of laughs.
It's such a small world sometimes.
My friend & former co-worker went to work for a company that has offices both in La Crosse & Eau Claire. Just so happens to be the same company my sister works for, and
when she left our office I was teasing my sister that she took away our friend and in reality they got an amazing addition. My friend went to train in my sisters office, and now they're friends too. Pretty neat!

Merry Thursday!
Busy day so far. It is another beautiful mild sunny day

I'm going to get a hair cut after I drop my youngest to nursery school. I have not had a hair cut in ages but doubt it matters as my hairstyle of late is either neat pony tail or messy pony tail LOL

Both children are having tea parties this afternoon at school to celebrate her Majesty the Queen's 90th birthday. The lovely weather makes it perfect for all the celebrations throughout the country today.

Harlowe is about the same today, and hasn't eaten much in the last 24 hours.
She did rest somewhat better last night, as we have adjusted the furosemide dose to just once a day, and much less. We are going to see if staying on it consistently and at a much reduced dosage will be preventative. The pattern is fluid building up on her lungs every month or so, and then having to put her on higher doses which she doesn't do well with, although the cough is relieved.
Fingers crossed.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday EVE! My brother stayed home sick from work so instead of going without him we decided to wait to go to the Chinese buffet till next week. Right now though I'm looking forward to this weekend as we get closer to it. I'm also looking forward to Crown having returned and posting this morning the count. Today should be a normal busy day at work so I look forward to going through that and coming home for a restful evening.
I hope you all have a great Thursday...err...Friday Eve (that sounds better)!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Sorry I was away yesterday. Some of you saw the prayer requests I posted in the Prayer Requests thread, but it was a difficult day. I won't be a Danny Downer here, though.

The weather man says clear skies & 80°F today, but it's overcast & cool. I wish my job would allow for me to be that wrong that often.

I'm taking off tomorrow to go to Savannah with Nancy so she can spend her Christmas gift cards. Oh, joy.

Hair appointment went well with new hair stylist. It was quite long so I took quite a few inches off as we are approaching summer
