Happy Friday!
Not too much going on here today. Maggie and I are going for a walk in a few minutes. I also have to run to the mall later to get my nephew a birthday gift. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores and make beef stew for dinner. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

LOL, I'm always excited for my favorite season! Always on my brain, just how I'm wired and I love it!

I still can find things to like in every season, though.

It's the same as us being here counting down to Christmas, being excited for it everyday but not necessarily wanting it tomorrow ;) Counting down and the anticipation are all part of the fun!

You are right on! And I love it!!! :D

I always start the count on my phone early January, for April 1st - lake season!! :D :jump Always good to have something to look forward too!!!

I'm wired the same way. But as you said the anticipation is a big part of the fun of it. I think Crown said it best recently when someone mentioned they wish it was Dec 20th. He said "REALLY"? Cause it'd be awesome but I really am far from being ready for that yet!

Exactly, I've been slammed the past 6 months. Better than being too slow, but I wouldn't mind a little slower :)

I don't mean to rub it in but right now I am waiting for 12:15! :p I hope your afternoon at work fly's by for you!!! xx

We are heading to the lake tonight. Tomorrow we have....this is going to be a big surprise...a wedding!!! :D Another wedding! :) Our friends son is getting married so it should be a lot of fun. My sister is a neighbor to our friends so her & my BIL get there too! Another long day/night! Sunday we have a 1st communion in Indianapolis - I'm not sure that I am going, but my hubby is. We don't have anyone available to stay with mom on Sunday so I'll probably stay back with her - I am ok with that. I won't have to find someone for Gracie 2 days in a row that way too.

What are your weekend plans?

I just responded to snowflake about the weekend if you look above ;) but tonight we are going to the lake, tomorrow we have a wedding & Sunday Jim is going to Indy (2 1/2 hr drive) & I'll probably be staying with or at least checking in on mom!
Hope you get to do some fun things with the kids inside this weekend!
 
My youngest was with me today while I was shopping for makeup. I was testing various colours on my cheek/chin etc for the right shades. When I turned to my son, he had been copying me!!! There he was staring back at me with various colours of blush and foundation and eye shadow! He just had this perplexed serious expression that basically said I don't get what you see in this stuff mum ...
