Today may be more of the same, but no matter. The NFL playoffs begin this afternoon!

Merry morning,
I am so glad I don't have to leave the house today. I plan on laying on the sofa all day so I can get over this virus fully especially as I am going into work tomorrow.

I noticed The Lake House is on Tv today so I set it to record. It was on a magazine's list of movies to watch in Autumn. I plan on saving it till Sep/Oct to watch I don't know if it's any good but I am excited to be planning for Autumn!!!

What are you up to today? For all taking down decorations - good luck. Don't worry you will soon be putting them back up again. It's only a few months till next season and even less till autumn and Halloween !!!!!!!! Yay! Don't get me wrong though, I am in no way wishing time away - it's to precious.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Well that first work week of the year was not so bad was it? Glad it's the weekend though. I'm really gonna try to have a low-key weekend. The one thing about the holiday season is that the weekends can be hectic (even though they're so amazingly fun). Sometimes I am running around nonstop all day on the weekends and this weekend I plan on just relaxing more than running around. We have a mild yet cloudy and somewhat rainy weekend ahead. It's ok. Still no signs of any real snow here. Next week should be cold with a chance of snow showers mid-week. That's about it. I'm going to the eye Dr. this morning to reorder my contacts for a year. Other than that, gonna go to the deli to get a nice sandwich for lunch.

Another busy weekend ahead--I think the last time I had a weekend where I had nothing planned was early November. HOPEFULLY this is the last one-I would have had time off but I work in a retirement community and someone passed away, so their service is tomorrow. Can't predict that ever, and I'm happy to be there for the family and do the service. But boy, does it make getting through the work week harder without a day off recently! Perhaps next weekend will truly not have anything come up...let's hope for that!

We will be taking down our tree and decorations today, but it's time. We can't hold onto them forever, and we haven't even turned our tree lights on this week. It's time. Next year and next season will be here before we know it, so no worries! Let's enjoy each season as it comes.

Good evening,
Well, here we are, January 8. Tonight I shut my outdoor lights off for the final time until November, it is a bittersweet moment. Sad because I don't want it over, but happy to begin anew for the upcoming journey until Christmas comes around in 351 days. The indoor stuff will remain on until it comes down over the next few weeks.
We will be heading over to a friends house tomorrow, going to watch the Bengals game on a 70 inch TV, with pizza and such. I feel good about this team, even with our backup QB. Go Bengals!!!!

Have fun at your friends house! I asked Jim where he wanted to watch the game, but he isn't sure! My sis, bil, nephew & his girlfriend...and a bunch of others are going to the game. How fun that will be for them! They are season ticket holders, but to be at a playoff game in Cincy will be huge for them, I'm sure! I don't want McCarron to be injured, but I do hope Wenning gets in there for a play or 2!! xx (THAT would be cool!)

The pizza was very yummy!! The flavor was amazing, the crust was crisp. I will definitely smoke pizza again!

We don't have any major plans today. My hubby is helping a friend hang drywall at their new house. I'm going to start taking down decs. Tonight we will watch the Bengals game somewhere. That's about it.
