Christmas Countdown - 2016

Happy Saturday!
The weather today is simply gorgeous---sunny, warm, flowers and trees in bloom! Really puts me in the mood for Memorial Day and the summer to come. But tomorrow it's back to gray, wet, and chilly. Just the same, I'm putting away winter clothing and getting out my spring and summer stuff. Weather or no weather, it's time. I just don't feel right wearing turtleneck sweaters in May. Doing that and some laundry and some general straightening up today. We'll go out to lunch later and enjoy the weather on the way.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Well I'm gonna try to enjoy this 3 day weekend. I went to bed last night and slept 8+ hours so I feel fresh. I have some errands and such to do on this Saturday like usual. But it's a beautiful morning out before we get potential thunderstorms later today followed by another shot of chill (in MAY). Looks like the weather next week looks to be 65-70 most days which is close to normal but maybe a little below it. I saw the weatherman say that last May were 7 degrees above normal and this May we're 5 degrees below normal so that's obviously a 12 degree cooler swing from last May.
I hope you guys all have a great SATURDAY and I'm about to post the count for day 1 of 7 for the great legendary Crown.

Enjoy your weekend Edge. You're a lucky man getting 8+ hours of sleep. But so was I. I got 8.5 hours of much needed sleep last night. It is refreshing.

Good morning everyone. The Great Crown is out on vacation for the next 7 days so I will be filling in. I'll do my best to keep the excitement going. But looking at these numbers below it will not take much effort on my part for that to happen. What am I talking about? Let's take a look:

Days to the Season: 183
Days to Christmas Day: 225

Ahh look at that. The Season number is now so close to halfway. In fact, TOMORROW guys to celebrate our Sunday we will reach one of the most important milestones in my humble opinion the halfway point to the Christmas season! Be here to celebrate it.

Very wet morning here, but at least it is only rain not that white stuff.

Busy day here. I have to be at church at 9am to help prepare the snacks for after Elsa's funeral. Visitation starts at noon with funeral at 1. They are expecting a lot of people. Please remeber her husband and her girls in your prayers as they celebrate her life today and how much she meant to them.

Its kinda cool outside but the humidity is like when you get water in ur nose from swimming. If I was in NC I would be thinking a hurricane was blowing through.

Only about 10 of them would have been keepers. But still fun to catch them all.

High humidity is no fun no matter what the temperature is. It just makes everything miserable outside.
