Christmas Countdown - 2016

Hello all!
Yesterday we went to a small ComicCon in Louisville, KY. This time only Henry dressed up. He was Plankton from SpongeBob. He won best Prop in the costume contest and won $25.00 and a cool T-shirt. My wife also was able to meet and get autographs from her favorite comic book artist Jae Lee. We also went to a Q&A session with Jae Lee which was really cool.

However, with all good things comes the not as good. Yesterday was very hot here and in the middle of the night I noticed it was hot in the house. I went and looked at the inside unit of the heat pump, and of course it was frozen up.
So, we have a repair man coming, but of course they cannot get here unit late tomorrow. So, we will be using every fan we can come up with. Luckily it is not suppose to be as hot today.

I hope your A/C gets fixed fast. This heat is too much.

We had a memorial service at our church after the regular service yesterday. I think I saw over 200 people there. Considering that usual church attendance is about 30 (small congregation), we were very surprised. It turned out this gentleman had a very large circle of friends; it was very nice to see so many people turn out in support of his family. The service was very nice, as memorial services go, and then they had a luncheon/dinner for the attendees (and the organist....me!). It was a very uplifting service, and I hope the service and presence of friends comforted the family.

Truthfully it's April-October. @Bradmac can attest to that.

I run the a/c anytime it is remotely hot. I hate being hot! I really need to live in a colder climate!! Ohio isn't too bad overall. At least late fall and winter are decent. I used to live in Georgia and Tennessee and that was nearly unbearable.

Those HVAC guys get awful busy as soon as it heats up and gets cold. Still..it makes ya mad having to wait for them..lol! I am always thinking.."took ya 2 days to get here for a fix it! Wonder how long it will take ya to get my money?"..lol

I can't sleep if I'm hot. Personally I'd still rather be warm than be cold but everyone is different .
