I'm just sitting here having my coffee, trying to relax. My oldest is on her way to Punta Cana right now, just waiting to hear that she made it there safely. She went with her boyfriend and his family, they'll be on vacation all week. It's going to be another hot and humid day here, chance of a pop up thunderstorm this afternoon. My husband and I are going to take a ride to visit my FIL today. Back home afterward, I'm going to make lasagna for dinner. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a beautiful day <3

Good Sunday Morning MMC! CIJ is in full blown mode. I have it on here and have enjoyed reading the boards following along. Hard to believe it's the 2nd half of July now. I usually would lay out for an hour in the sun on a sunny warm weekend day but it was so hot yesterday I couldn't do it. I probably would be burnt like toast if I did. It was too hot for me. I usually hit the dog days of summer in August but this year I find myself in mid-July already thinking about the Autumn weather. But I won't complain or rush it. I love that we're getting closer to the BERS but it's exciting to know we still have the entire BERS to look forward to.

That's how many days we have left to go to reach day 100 in our Season count and start the first of our double-digit run to Christmas Season 2016.

Speaking of "wow", we had a wowzer of a storm last night, with the usual severe weather warnings.
Thunder. lightning and LOTS of rain. Our rain gauge read 4.8" this morning, just 0.2" from the top of the glass!
The Crabtree Valley mall area experienced flooding. Yes, the same mall that's the source of so many of my Blossoms photos!
But not to worry. This has happened there before and they know how to cope.
We have started out understandably damp at 72 degrees here today.
