Seems like only yesterday that I was grumping Christmas was over with in January. (Well kinda like yesterday..lol) but this year is speeding by faster than my normal off seasons. I am literally like a kid in a candy shop waiting to decorate the rest of the house.That seems crazy!!!
It was just creepy! I pulled up our local radio station website on my phone just to see if they had found the girl who went missing last week when I saw the story about the missing autistic girl, just down the road from us!
Later at our Olympics when our 3 fire fighter nephews came home, they said they had found the autistic girl & just a little later my sister said they had found the other girl who had gone missing last week. So scary!
Isn't that the truth!
I'm very sorry to hear about the tragedies that occurred over the weekend, prayers for all affected! So sad! Hugs.

Thanks! It was a good weekend all in all! Unfortunately a 10 year old autistic girl drowned in our lake, not all that far from our trailer Saturday morning. We didn't know her or the family, but still so sad. My nephew is a fire fighter & he is the one who found her.
Gotta be smooth when you mess with your mom. Mom's always know.I stayed at Moms last night. Of course she is 87 & at that age, they tend to like it warmer in their house, but I was so darn warm overnight I don't feel like I slept at all! I did turn down her AC & it was feeling pretty good but she must have got up in the middle of the night & turned it back up. BUSTED!
We're really starting to run out of time Crown...before you know it we'll be seeing signs of Christmas everywhere.

It sure is hot down here, but I'm still feeling Christmassy! It was 101°F yesterday afternoon, and we have another week of it coming, according the 7 day forecast. So what?!? Bring it on! It's Christmas in July!!
It's also the 4-year anniversary of my heart attack, and I thank the Lord for each day he gives me with my family. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Father God!

I heard about that girl...she was riding her bike home and was abducted. I am so happy they caught the person that did that...so sad.It was just creepy! It's nice to see you!I love counting down. In fact where I work, there are many people who are so use to me knowing how far it is away, that they will stop and ask... "Chris, how long till Christmas?" Of course keeping it in my heart all year long certainly helps. Already thinking about the outside decorations and will be going through the interior decorations at the end of August. It makes it a lot easier for me to get it squared away (hey, I'm retired military) quickly.
As an added bonus, it lets the child come out a little earlier.

Thank you, we had a laid back weekend. Spent lots of time relaxing, reading, watching movies, playing with Har, cleaning up the house, doing laundry, etc.
