Whew! What an exhilarating Milestone Day it was yesterday!
Time to sit back, relax a bit, and sip some sweet iced tea, NOT coffee.
(It's all gone anyway. Bing was here).
Ahhh!

Oh, Oh! Just looked at the Milestone Chart. Bad mistake.
Why?
Because now I realize the next marker is only........EIGHT days away. Already down to SINGLE DIGITS!

Not really bad here yesterday. Tolerable heat and humidity.
Today may see us still avoiding the 90's if we are lucky. We shall see.
The day has commenced here at 75 degrees this morning.

Good evening,

It is late, but I am on vacation!!! It is my second and final vacation of the summer, no real plans just relaxing with our miniature petting zoo.
We will probably get the little ones their shots and deworming at the Petco clinic tomorrow, they are acclimating well to the house, they will not leave the room we are in, and constantly want to be around us.
I forgot to let you all know I had another great find at Goodwill earlier this week, I found a Possible Dreams Santa in almost perfect shape for $4.00. I was so happy finding it. I have had tremendous luck there this year.
I won A Christmas Story blu ray on eBay, the other day, I have to upgrade for the new TV, which is on the fritz right now. Samsung is coming out to repair it in the next few days.
My vacation for Christmas week has been approved, that made my day today, even more so than going on vacation today.

Lots of stuff to share tonight, finally had the time to do it.

Happy Saturday!
It's going to be warm & humid today, chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. I'm going to head out soon, I have to make a big food shopping trip. My husband usually works on Saturday but he has off today, as well as tomorrow. Not too much planned. Hopefully the weather will improve, we just plan on hanging out by the pool and barbecuing. Trying to enjoy these last few weekends of Summer.

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

have to go into work for 4 hours this morning then off till Monday morning.

Anyone catch the open ceremonies for the 2016 Olympic summer games ?
Not to bad, the lighting of the torch was really cool. Lots of colour and fun after the parade of athletes.

Have a ton of stuff ton before I leave on Friday including doing a cake and working every day. Thursday I pick up my brother at London airport at 6 am and have to be at work by 9:30 am. They are trying to make me really appreciate my vacation !

It's nice that you're only working this morning and get to enjoy the rest of your weekend. We watched the opening ceremonies last night. I thought it was simple and ok. But I agree that the torch is simply awesome. Sounds like you'll have a very busy week ahead. What kind of cake will you be making? Vacation coming up will be all the more welcome, I'm sure.

Good morning everyone. Well not only is the season starting to bear down upon us (thankfully), but another of my favorites for this time of year is happening today and tomorrow. The NFL Hall of Fame Induction is today and the game tomorrow. Yes, the season kickoff is still a month away, but bring it on... and by the way... Santa likes football.

I don;t know if any of you have been to either Disneyland or Walt Disney World during the Christmas Season, but I thought you might like a couple of pictures... one is from Disneyland's It's a Small World and the other from WDW Studios Osborne Spectacle of Lights. Enjoy!

Well the guy called about Rollins and the vet had checked him out. Not the best update but not the worst. They said he has congestion but not pneumonia. The vet wants to change his prescription and check him by the end of next week which is when I'm off. If he's ok then he can go home...so the waiting game continues. I will visit him both Saturday and Sunday. Will be good for him to keep seeing us and get used to us.

Got to visit him this afternoon and gonna go back tomorrow. Do not believe the innocent look you see in those pics...put him down and he does not stop lol. But he's fun and the guy told us we can still look at other dogs but that he can tell we've already bonded with Rollins. They said Thursday-Saturday they should have another update to see if he's ok to come home.
