I never made it to the supermarket, I'll have to go tomorrow. My two youngest had off from work today so we decided it was a good day to run up to the college bookstore to make their purchases. I would gladly give them my card to use but they insist that the cardholder be present. The girls were a little bit bothered that they had to go with me lol, but there ended up being many other parents there as well. So we're back to two being in college now since my middle one decided she wanted to return to school. The cost of those text books really add up!

It's Adi's and my 8th wedding anniversary! And he's been doing sweet gestures all morning =)

Congratulations on your anniversary! I love it when people continue to show they care after all those years together with little gestures that mean so much.

They called and said he's on his final check but instead of Monday afternoon he got in Tuesday so they want me to pick him up 10AM Wednesday...yes yet 1 last and final (I hope) day of waiting? Just gonna stay at work then and get his stuff first thing Wednesday, pick him up, spend all day with him...and maybe come in to work a little late on Thursday to spend a little extra time with him. I can't take anymore waiting lol.

Awww that's too bad that you have to wait until tomorrow morning. I didn't log on all day and I was going through the thread expecting pictures and whatnot. I think we're all surely at least half as excited as you are for you to get Rollins home.

Good afternoon, MMC~

Adrian spent an hour & a half at the vet's office today. Harlowe had an exam, and a few different tests run. They did full labs, and an x-ray on her heart as well. So now we wait for results, and should hear back sometime tomorrow. I hate the waiting game.
I stopped to see her over lunch, and she was pretty stressed. But I'm still happy I checked in on her.

I am sending positive thoughts and hugs your way. Waiting for results is never fun. She just looks so darn adorable in that pic. Hopefully both of you will be able to rest a bit tonight.

Good evening everyone! Had my first day back at work yesterday and it went well but I was quite busy, as usual. One of my colleagues had a severe ailment while I was away and is now on sick leave. Her husband has also been struggling with a long-term illness for the past few months, it's awful for both of them. That's when you're reminded that there's nothing more important than health. Sadly I only really understood that when I turned 40. But it's never too late to take better care of yourself I think (I hope). Enjoy your night everyone!
