Merry Friday! TGIF!!
Here we are, entering the last Friday and weekend before we arrive at our beloved 'Bers
Our neighborhood get together was a lot of fun, we are surrounded by some really nice people!
The couple who hosted it are very sweet, they said anytime you step outside of your house and smell a bonfire, you're invited.
It's going to be a little cooler today, so I'm looking forward to that. But summer isn't done with us just yet!

Good Friday morning everyone! Day off for me before what will be a busy weekend at the store I'm sure. Running a load in the dishwasher before I head out to do some grocery shopping and then I have some laundry and housecleaning to do. When is a day off actually a day off? Anyway, I'm still working on putting together the album to celebrate our store's 10th anniversary and I've had a couple of really nice messages from former employees that I found on Facebook. It's nice to see that they have good memories of working with us. Wishing everyone a great Friday!

Good Friday morning everyone! Day off for me before what will be a busy weekend at the store I'm sure. So I just saw on Twitter that it's National Dog Day. In honour of this day dedicated to our beloved fur babies, here is the very first picture/first time I saw our Loki. David was the one who went to get him as I was working that day. When he got home he texted me this picture. Needless to say I so wanted the work day to be over so I could head home and see our new little puppy.

Yes, the heat began creeping back yesterday. It wasn't too bad, but today will be a very different story. The weather service says we could possibly see a heat index figure of 103 by this afternoon.

Right now, we have commenced this Weekend Eve day at 77 degrees here in the state capital.

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! The last Friday and weekend before the Bers. I don't know where summer has gone but as I told Holiday back on June 1 the 3 months of summer would seem like 1 month and that's basically how fast they've gone. Any way we can make sure the Bers do not go this fast? Looking forward to spending the weekend with Rollins and going upstate Saturday evening for a wrestling show my brother wants to see. Other than that not too much planned this weekend.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday!!! Woo Hoo!

Last night I made @snowflake22 's Wisconsin Beer Cheese soup & it was delicious!!! Leftovers will not be an issue to get rid of! I was pleasantly surprised about the popcorn as a garnish. It was very good! I made 2 stir crazy poppers of popcorn & my hubby used the rest to make sugar corn! That was delish too. I told him he couldn't eat much popcorn b/c it's for this weekend at the lake! (Guess what he had for breakfast this morning...HA)

Just enjoying my day off, watching the Red Sox game. My little man Quinn is sitting with me snoring away.
I have the AC running today, the humidity has crept back upwards.

Most places do! Typically either popcorn, shredded cheese, bacon, and chives are the most popular toppings. Sometimes all are included, which is my favorite!

I used popcorn, green onion & a very little bit of crumbled bacon. Mmmm, Mmmmm! I even re-loaded my bowl with popcorn I liked it so much!

Happy Rudolph Day! My vacation this week has been pretty relaxing. I had to take my poor Leo to the vet this morning. We were out playing ball outside on Tuesday night and he split one of his toenails. It didn't even bleed but the toenail was sticking up so they trimmed it down and we need to soak it in Epsom salts so I have been putting him in the bath tub and he just stands there..lol But of course he is licking it like crazy so I am not sure if he is going to need a cone or not?? I may call the vet tomorrow to see what they say.

My oldest daughter has soccer tryouts for the high school team tonight and my youngest daughter is at a birthday sleepover.

View attachment 28519 Hope everyone is having a good night. I ended up getting Leo a soft collar at Pet Valu because he would not stop licking his paw and it started to get red. I feel so bad for my guy...wearing the cone of shame!

Awe - what a poor sweet baby! Give Leo a hug from Gracie 'n me! I hope it heals quickly & he does ok with the "cone of shame" Poor guy!!

I hope tryouts went well & your daughter had fun at the sleep over!

Good evening,

We ended up dropping the boys off at my in-laws house for the night. My better half and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and grocery shopping. The wings were so good and spicy tonight. The Halloween candy was out at BJ'S Warehouse Club, no costumes or decor yet. I am starting to get excited knowing one of these times the early Christmas stuff will be out.

Heading to bed, my eyes are heavy.
