Christmas Countdown - 2016

Happy Tuesday!
It's going to be a cloudy, autumnal day, with a high of 64 degrees!
Pumpkins are popping up all over town, and I'm seeing them along with scarecrows, mums, hay bales, and cornstalks all over the neighborhood..looks so festive!!
I need to go mum shopping!

Good morning snowflake!
I noticed our neighbors put out their pumpkins/gourds this morning. Their house looks so festive. Can't wait to check it out closer when I go home for lunch!

That's his favorite thing to do. He takes the ball/toy drops it near me and waits for me to pick it up. I throw it and he goes after it, gets it, brings it back and drops it near me again. Nitro was weird because he wouldn't let you pick up the toy. When you went to grab it he'd take it in his mouth and not let you take it. Rollins though goes to take it from you but purposely lets you grab it from him so you can throw it.

So cute....are you on FB? I belong to a group called Boston Terriers R Us. It is a great group and all about BTs and people post all pics of theirs..it is nice because if they are having an issue or whatever you can ask and get plenty of helpful responses.

Another 9 hours and 500 miles done. Car is unpacked and laundry started. I am exhausted though. I think it's going to be an early night.

My day off went well, I never left the house today. I won the special remastered steelbook version of Christmas Vacation blu-ray on eBay. Took a nap, did some cleaning, played with the kittens, especially Tuukka. He just runs at me sideways, then I chase him and then he chased me while running sideways again. He sometimes does that when I get home from work, he'll run up to me sideways because he is so excited to see me. Like I've said, we have never had kittens like these guys before.
Another day off tomorrow, work 3 days and have the weekend off.

Tuesday morning, very early. Catching up from yesterday on the computer and then around 5AM, I'll head off to the church for a few hours of study and peace.
Work week begins once again, but thankfully I am all rested up and ready to go. The one great thing about being up this early is that I am usually ready to go back to sleep around 1 or 2PM, which makes the overnight shift go easier.
I hope everyone had either a productive or restful Monday. For you Steeler fans... nice first outing.

We are having a heatwave!
It's currently 72 and later we will be roasting in the upper 70s !!!! The warmest September day in 50 years!
I'll take it!!!! I would love to hold on to 60s/70s for as long as possible!

Happy Tuesday Festive!

Leo sounds like my Loki. When he hears the word "donne" ("give" in French- Loki is bilingual lol), his tail starts wagging like crazy and he'll find a toy and will play fetch non-stop.

So cute!! That is great he is bilingual!

Nothing major to report for today. All is well on the home front, work and school. Oh wait! London's first official day is today. Last night she and I were going thru outfit ideas so that she looks professional yet keeps her own individual style as well. She didn't seem to anxious or nervous but I'll give her a call before she leaves for the mall today and give her some words of support.

I think I'll make myself some tea and go through my emails while listening to the Boston Pops Christmas festival before I have to roll the office phones. Everyone have a wonderful day.

Good morning my Christmas crazy friends! It's another beautiful morning! A little warmer this morning than yesterday morning at 58º. Windows are all open at work - boss #1 is on vaca the rest of the week - next best thing to my own vacation!

Gracie was such a nut job this morning. I think the cooler temps invigorate her. I laughed all the way to work. What a goof!

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Another gorgeous September day here. I always say May & September might be the 2 nicest weather months in this area where I live. There are so many almost perfect days. I'm enjoying it. Wore my autumn jacket this morning with the bit of a chill but warm by the afternoon where I can sit in the sun in my car and enjoy it while not sweating profusely. Anyway, just another day at work and then post-work work (work for my online course, exercise, taking care of Rollins etc.). But busy is good!

It's been a rainy couple of days, and even though the temps have dropped to the upper 80's, the humidity won't let me enjoy it.

We went to Elizabeth's school last night to witness her induction into the BETA Society. When I was in HS, BETA Club was an automatic thing if your grades were always "A". Now they're invited to join, and they do community service and literary competitions. Busy, busy!

Good Saturday everyone! Yep it's still hot and humid here too but they are predicting a very cool Sunday. Got all of our grocery shopping done this morning and now we're watching random YouTube videos while a load is in the wash. Thinking of doing a Mr. Robot marathon this afternoon to finish season 1. That or Stranger Things on Netflix. Hope you will all have a great day!
