Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Another gorgeous morning here (actually a little chilly). Feels good though. Love this time of year and not rushing to get to the real cold weather. Starting to think about the weekend a bit? I know holiday has been since Sunday night . I am trying to stay ahead of the work in my class so that I'm not doing much of it on the weekends. It's going to be a good and positive day today I feel it.

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!! Woot!

It's a beautiful, chilly, sunny day! For the 1st time this season our house was cooler this morning than what our AC was set on! I noticed the volunteers who were working in the park this morning had flannel shirts/jackets on. There's a sign of the season! BUT we'll be back up to 85º tomorrow, & forecasted to stay in the 80's until Sept. 24th! Better soak up the heat while I can!

Whenever I have doubts I tell myself to be positive. Things could be a lot worse and most things we worry about/get upset about really don't matter in the big picture. But I wasn't always like that lol...just as I got older. Have a great day Brad!!!

Happy Friday Eve!

Today we woke up to cool temps and a cloudy sky. There was no indication that it was supposed to rain. Lizzybeth grabbed up her umbrella just in case and I said that I would risk not taking mine because I have one at the office should I need one later on. My neighbor gave me a lift into the city this morning as her office building is right next to mine and we noticed that the ground was wet. Apparently the city experienced a heavy downpour only about 30 mins or so before I got in - so I missed it. YAY! The high is supposed to be only in the upper 70's.

London's second day at work was exciting as she prevented a couple who had been going to various stores with a huge suspicious backpack from stealing from her store. She tried calling me on her break to tell me all about it but I was in church and the phone was on vibrate. So as soon as she came through the door last night she couldn't wait to give me the details. I remember those days when working retail - UGH the absolute worst!

I've got to start looking for replacement earbuds as mine have stopped working. I'm not to upset after all I got them for 8.99 and they lasted two years so I feel like I got my monies worth. I borrowed a pair from London for today but I'll search Amazon today and place an order because I cannot ride the train everyday without my earbuds.

That was the problem, we missed out on so many cheaper deals because no one else wanted to make the effort. I would get it all set and no that won't work. We can't book it without them... so on and so on.

I watched the Browns game, and boy was it a pitiful display. I did not have high hopes going into the season, and now they are even lower. RG3 being gone is not the issue, the team is just soooo young and we have a center that has no business in the NFL.
In better news, we did decorate the inside of the house. This weekend we will probably do the outside.

Yes, the Browns are a sad case! And this weekend we will be beat by one of my least favorite teams!!

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 73 degrees. Typical day for me, I have a couple of errands to run and then I'll be working on my daily chores. I'll also begin decorating at some point, so excited about that

Morning MMC friends/family!! I have the next 4 days off. Not much planned, just a little thing called a wedding. The Mrs. was up at 2am this morning and hasn't been able to go back to sleep. It's going to be a long day for her. I'm usually up by 4-4:30 when I have to work (like today). It was different to have her awake and talking to me while I'm getting ready for work.

got a terrible problem...my new living room is so small I do not know where to fit in my Christmas tree
I could get a smaller tree but then would have way to many decorations for it.
Told my son we could just put it in the middle of the room but he thinks that watching TV would be a problem then.
so I am going to have a wine and cheese and coffee and hot
chocolate and gingerbread open house for you all so you can come by and give me ideas please.
