good morning my favourite Christmas friends !

Penny is starting to feel and act more like herself again. Running and playing but still annoyed about wearing the cone. I told her only 3 more days then it come off
Have not seen Abby yet as she is sleeping in my sons room but all was quiet when I peeked in so they are both still sleeping. Could tell by her water dish that she had been drinking during the night.

Snowed like crazy again last night, very white out there again. I need to head out to Toronto, am waiting till later today for roads to get cleared first.

Well, winter weather is here with us for a while with temps well below average for this time of the year.
We have started today off at 20 degrees and likely will stay close to the freezing mark all day. Tonight, the predicted low is 16-19.
BRRRR!!
Fortunately, no precipitation in any form is expected.

Well Holiday let an expert weatherman explain this to you...it depends on the position of a high pressure system that's sitting over Eastern Canada late this week. If it's too strong and pushes south it will push out the storm system to sea and keep it weak with little snowfall for most. If it positions a little further north it will allow the storm to head up the coast and strengthen leading to a snowstorm. Make sense? Not really to me either...

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! 1 hour extra work yesterday on Monday and then 1 hour less of sleep than what I normally get =...I don't really feel tired. But it always hits me the evening after so by tonight I'm expecting to go to bed early. But I want some time to come home this evening for a couple of hours and hang out with my Christmas tree and Nitro. It's very cold this morning but as long as it's not windy its tolerable. Should be the coldest day of the week then a brief "warmup" as in the 30s for highs and then that storm the world is talking about Friday/Saturday. Potential...well I know one thing that's more than just potential and that is the Christmas season and this countdown. They are awesome.

LOL...I got that....and again....sounds to me like they just don't know. LOL! ;) According to the maps we are right on he edge of the storm.
 
Good Morning, MMC!!!! Brrrr!!!! It's cold out there!!! Another 1 to 3 inches of snow predicted for tonight and tomorrow morning. What happened to those 50 degree temps we had at Christmas? I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Probably! All that hype & then... nothing! We have dinner plans about an hour from here on Saturday so if we get too much snow we will have to change plans - but then I can stay home & watch it - so, I'm good either way! :p:D
 
Here's the update from our local tv station...

Friday: Another chance for snow arrives, but the amount of snow will depend on the track of the storm system. Current tracks have the larger snowfall totals further south, but the forecast is expected to change. High temperatures will be in the lower 30s.

Brrrr is right!!! Yesterday when I printed off the forecast they had 50º predicted for January 31st....maybe you will see that again soon! Stay warm made!!! We are supposed to get snow tomorrow morning! xx
