Autumn is just about here, the Boston Bruins training camp opens tomorrow, the Red Sox are rolling, just a few games away from clinching a playoff spot. Things are going well right now, slowly starting to feel like the beginning of the best time of the year.
Halfway through my workweek, just keeping chugging along here.

My Good friend's Mom met him in a country bar while he was doing research for a book that took place near my hometown of La Crosse. Imagine her surprise! She is in English and writing professor, she said they had a lot to talk about and that he was a fascinating and kind man.

What an honour! His work has always inspired me.
