yup its a cold...taking drugs to make it through my work day today.
Watching the progress of that storm on the east coast and it gets nastier looking as it moves closer. Praying you all stay safe and warm. Did any of you pick up some of Carls special, "Keep you warm in the storm" blend he was giving away at the Pines on Wednesday ? He is fairly certain it will do the job.
Well, I should go and get my lunch together. I made a chicken kale soup last night to bring along.

Even in the northeast here they do that binger. People are crazy. Not saying you don't want to be safe but to act like every storm is the world ending is a bit over the top in my opinion.
Good Friday Morning MMC! Ahh back to my normal Fridays where I have a full normal weekend ahead after my once a year working on a Saturday last week. I appreciate this Friday even more-so now after that work day on Saturday. The storm? For my area basically I could wind up getting no snow as the storm is south of me...but at the same point not too far south of me they are predicting a foot of snow. So for now they're still predicting 3-6 inches of snow for my area. I'd be ok with that. I really don't need 12 inches of snow nor do I really want to miss the storm completely. Heck let it snow some on a Saturday. Gives me a reason to stay home and relax. I can do lots of stuff I need to do around the house.

Hey, friends! Hope all has been well. Been busy here, especially the last few days. We have been dodging ice, but it finally got us on Tuesday night and last night Today is going to a snow day. You could look at the roads and think there isn't much, but it is about two inches of solid ice. Won't be here long, so we are gonna bundle up and watch some movies. I already have lunch and supper cooking away. Gonna be a great day! Y'all have fun!
We're in the 12-18 range and my parents are in the 20-24, so we're stocked up and ready for the long haul! My husband has to work until 3:30 so pray he gets home safe. I'm looking forward to a weekend where we actually get to stay home together! I got off work today because the office closed so that's also exciting!

I had an unscheduled day off today. I stayed home because JP was sick all night long. So I had a busy day with him, didn't take any Christmas stuff down, my heart couldn't bear of 2 days in a row of that.
I did see that Dept. 56 has announced the 2016 Possible Dreams Santa lineup. I spent quite some time researching those, and added many to my wish list. I will be lucky to get more than one, but I can wish, especially if the one I get is this guy:
Hockey and Santa, doesn't get much better than that for me.
I am heading to bed, I have a little back spasm going on right now, so hopefully I will be able to sleep it off.

Happy Friday MMC! Hope you all have a great day! Not up too much today besides working and going to my daughter's soccer game tonight. We have a storm watch now for tomorrow morning into Sunday morning. They are saying 4-8 inches of snow...we'll see. I am planning on making a roast for dinner and we will probably have a fire. 
How great that you get to stay home where it's safe & warm today.
