I bought a new vacuum cleaner yesterday, it seems really nice.

The one we had to get rid of was a housewarming gift from my parents when we moved to Las Vegas 13 years ago. It had a good run!

Days to Christmas Day: 308

And just that quickly, we stand one day over a single week until the grand opening of the 300-day Christmas Day Window, through which we will gaze upon the vista of a double-200's count landscape.

Nice yesterday.
Even nicer today, with the predicted high at 71 degrees.
(No rain either -- an extra bonus!)
We stand just below 55 at this hour here in North Carolina, in the heart of Panther Country.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! How are my favorite peeps in the world doing? It's so beautiful here. It just makes me happy. Yesterday we hit 60 degrees! Probably about as warm as it's been since Christmas Day. It was beautiful. Today it's supposed to be a little cooler but 55 in late February? That's still nice! I know we're going to get colder later in the week after some rain midweek. But even "normal" this time of year is going up up up. Normal high temps continue to rise through late February. So even normal isn't as bad as we start to head towards the latter part of winter. Just thinking about a lot of awesome stuff ahead of guys...it's just so exciting. I'm looking forward to Easter and spring time and so much stuff. And to think that's just the beginning...not even talking about the BERS which we wait all 8 months for. Anyway, let's just try to enjoy today. I have some grocery shopping to do today and of course I'm gonna go do my run. Last Sunday it was -32 wind chill when I woke up and today? 45 degrees...that's about 77 degree "feel" difference. I think I'll enjoy my run this Sunday A LOT more than last.

Not too much going on here today, my husband has to work for a few hours. My middle one is still sick, she had a bad night. I'm going to run to the supermarket to pick up a few things and make her a pot of chicken soup. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. I also need to choose a paint color for a bathroom we are renovating. That's about it for me.
