Wow HMG you're making me hungry too. That's scary about the break-in at the neighbors. Try not to worry too much. I know it's hard not to. Take care and have a good day.

Thank you Edge!

Have a good day HMG....a couple of summers ago we were having break ins around our area. They were taking place during the day and it made me so nervous since I work from home. I make sure to keep all my doors locked and my dogs are crazy barkers so I know they would alert me for sure. They caught the guys...it was a few guys in their early 20's looking for drug money. They wanted anything they could pawn quickly.

I really hope they catch whoever did this. I'm thinking it was for drug money as well, they took the jewelry and left.
I'm glad your daughter is feeling better. Hope you have a nice night!

Solice, I am so sorry your daughter has a broken finger. Praying she heals quick!

HmG, praying your daughter is recovering nicely!

Graywolf, how awesome you found the music you have been searching for. I am so happy for you! Your future carving plans sound amazing. Looking forward to the pictures!

Festive, praying you are better soon! Love the story about the tree ~ I pictured it as I was reading your post and it made me smile! Nice finds on the houses!

Made, praying you are better soon!

Prancer, your meals always sound so yummy.

Holiday, praying your mom is better.

Snowflake, praying all goes well with Harlowe and that Adrian has safe travels.

Brad, I'm so glad you and your family had a great Christmas in the mountains. Mrs. Hilda's cooking sounds so yummy ~ I bet she has some great stories to go along with her dishes. She could write a cookbook!

Sean, how sweet your fiancee bought you eggnog.

MsRose, good to see you. Keeping you in prayer!

Thank you so much Meceka ♥
xx

poor Penny was shaking so hard her whole carrier was shaking too, She kept jumping into my arms and curling up, hugging as close to me as she possibly could. When vet was done she ran back into carrier so fast it almost fell off the table. But she has forgiven me and is fine now. I am not anticipating a good reaction to the actual surgery.

Poor baby, sending hugs and prayers. Glad she's doing fine now ♥

Nitro does the same. He actually does ok and he even licked the nurse at his last checkup when she asked him how he's doing. He just gets nervous at first and then seems to be ok while they're checking him out.
Poor guy.
Harlowe was okay until she had a long stay there once, now I think she's afraid she'll be left there again.

That's the worst. When I had to leave Nitro for his surgery for a few days it was so hard to. And the worst part was visiting him the next day and knowing I can't take him home. He was looking up at me like please take me home. I felt so bad lol...it was terrible. I have a pic of him recovering.

That's when I went to visit him. I felt so bad he was looking up at me. He looked so quiet and out of it after he saw me leave and come back the next day like he'd given up hope. Then when I asked him if he wanted to go home he popped his head up and all of a sudden had all this energy. Funny how dogs know what you're saying.

Very nice, graywolf!! I've been looking for a Disney set that was called Disney's 50 All-Time Christmas Favorites. It was a 2 lp set with a 3rd lp that was their version of A Christmas Carol. I've been searching for all 3 for years on something other than vinyl (preferably CD or digital format) since I no longer own a record player. I wore those lp's out I listened to them so much. I found a version of Disney's A Christmas Carol that had some of the original songs, but they changed some parts to match the cartoon version of it. I am looking for the original recording.

But I digress, very happy for you graywolf!! Enjoy them when they come in. What is the track list like?

Sean

I'll keep my eyes open for your wish albums too. :-)

This is the back pic of the album

Merry Wednesday! Happy Pines Day!

What a morning!!! Funny story ... and it's okay to laugh so go ahead.

Early this morning some random guy turns up with a chainsaw about to cut down the tree in my front garden. The one that houses the Christmas robin that visits every year. I was dumbstruck as to what was happening at first. I ran out into the rain, still in my pajamas and fell over into the garden which is a muddy pool these days due to the heavy rains. The guy informed me that he was here to cut the tree down on the request of the owner who claims it is on their property.

After much arguing and me throwing myself in front of the tree (wet, covered in mud, twigs in hair) the guy makes a phone call only to discover he has the WRONG tree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is meant o be doing the neighbour's tree two houses away!

He seemed scared at that point and made a very quick exit.

Can you imagine!!!!!!!!!!! I shudder to think what could have happened! I would have been devastated!!

Here is a photo of the robin. It's not a very clear shot but hopefully you can see him. He spends ages near the window looking in at us. He comes every year around mid autumn. He has become one of our signs that Christmas is coming.

I totally love you for falling upon your tree. LOL I'm so glad you were home to stop him!

I know how you must've felt, it's heartbreaking.

Please give Nitro a hug for us.

Har was in emergency care, and then serious condition for over a week. We went to visit every day, and seeing an IV in her, and her being so scared and weak, always broke my heart. She'd get frantic & plead for us to take her home :(

That's the best part!

Yeah that's why the 3rd day on purpose I didn't go see him because I couldn't go again and not take him home so I told my brother we're not going till we can take him home in a couple days. I couldn't leave him again. Hope Har is feeling better these days!
