Good Morning, Friends.

Moving on through the weekend and further into April.
(Can we really be in the fourth month of the year, already? Seems like just yesterday Santa was on his throne in Crabtree Valley Mall talking to the kids!)

This is surprising, too:
Days to the Season: 224
Days to Christmas Day: 266

But even more surprising is the nearness of our next TWO Milestones, the 1/3 Christmas Day mark and the 200-day Season Window, both barely over three weeks away now.
Wowzers!


A bit more rain yesterday morning, then clear and sunny for the remainder of the day with moderate temps and little wind.
Should be another nice one today although we have started it off rather chilly at 46 degrees.

Thinking of you folks in Ohio who got plastered with big winds and snow and damage ... I hope that weather system is out of your way and lets spring come through.

As advertised, we got a couple inches of snow last night and are expecting high winds this afternoon (not on Ohio's level, though). Now they're telling us to expect 2 to 5 inches more snow tomorrow afternoon into tomorrow night! Enough already! Mr. has to run a film show tomorrow night and can't cancel it, because it's been advertised in the newspaper. So I'll worry about him navigating snowy roads tomorrow. I'll worry about me navigating snowy roads on the way home from work, too. It's to be colder today and tomorrow, so they're telling us the snow will stick to the roads more than last night's snow. Is Mother Nature trying to fill a quota or something?

Good Morning all my Christmas loving friends !

We got dug out from yesterdays storm, got about 5 inches of snow. Another storm is on the way and we are expecting 5 to 7 inches of snow with this one. Are we sure it is April ?
Right now the sun is out and it looks lovely and I have a bunch of Christmas songs running through my brain.

Now I am going to play some games with my family so you all enjoy your Sunday !

I was so afraid this was going to happen. All winter was so mild (here) I figured we would pay for it...when we really don't want it! Stay safe 'n warm!

Thanks for all the wishes for our safety on the slippery roads!
I'm hoping they'll get the roads well treated for the evening commute; that will help Mr. on his way to the film show venue. Afterward it may be slippery, but there will be very few people on the road, so he can take his time getting back.

When we lived in Las Vegas, I missed the fall leaves so much that my mom would pick them up from her yard and ship me a big envelope full

It was really nice to walk through it, and the decorating is running through my brain!
It was fun to pick out paint colors, cabinets, flooring, countertops, etc.
Of course we'll share both bathrooms, but we're going to each take over one with our things, so we have our own space. And so it's not an inconvenience if we want to get ready at the same time.
I picked autumn colors for mine. I special ordered a quaint shower curtain, bath accessories, signs, etc. Going to be fun!

Awesome snowflake! Since we re-modeled & moved our bedroom upstairs, Jim & I have separate bathrooms too. It really is convenient - though we both use both bathrooms, but nice in the morning for getting ready for work!! Have fun!!!!

Hey MMC buddies!! Made it back from Milwaukee about 10pm last night. Roads were clear and weather was great, except for the wind. We ate at Mo's Irish Pub (Mrs. nickname is Mo so we HAD to stop there at eat!! ) Spent all morning at church as we usually do and then my daughter and the Mrs went to a LuLarue party and I was along to carry things and give my opinion. They both had a great time. Now I need to record for the radio station and get prepared for working tomorrow!!

As for the weather we're having here in the the Midwest and Northeast, I think Mother Nature went off her meds. Hope everyone stays warm and safe!!
