I have never been - I don't know of any teams locally! I hear the sport mentioned quite often though! Glad you had a good time.

Who's garden is it? LOLOL! Nice of you to help her out. Can't wait until we can get in ours!!! I just noticed last week that our rhubarb is coming up. So exciting!!! Hopefully the asparagus will be poking through soon too. This was the 1st year without Dad to take care of it & I think we waited too long to cut back the asparagus "ferns" Hopefully it will be ok.

LOL, that's what I was thinking while I was on my knees, too! But her grandmothers have been great at showing her about canning & pickling. She's awesome at that kind of stuff!

I never thought about planting asparagus, but we love it. I wonder if it will grow in our climate. And I'm pretty sure I've never eaten any rhubarb. Not on purpose, anyway. ;)

I agree - it is lame! The wind has been nuts!! Makes me want to curl up in a blanket on the couch...which is what I think I will do AFTER I take mom to church after work to walk. It's too cold for her to walk outside so she wants me to take her to church & walk the isles. Emma is coming along too. THEN it will be time for a cozy blanket, the couch & some baseball! :)

I've been reading each night for a bit, and have been running my fireplace to stay extra warm!

There are only 9 teams at the moment, but the league is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
The teams are:

Calgary Roughnecks
Vancouver Stealth

It is truly a winter wonderland here today. It has been snowing all day.
I called out this morning, I was feeling sick, so I have spent the day just resting.
Nothing else going on, just waiting out the storm.
