The biggest hurdle to me is the summer, I hate the heat and just trying to make it through the day without a headache is sometimes the toughest chore. Once the 'Bers get here it really starts moving for me.Once we get to March we'll be good I think. Spring and summer and then well you know after that.
For now I will remain in the glow of my trees and lights, loving every second of it.
My wife got him at CVS this year.

The biggest hurdle for me are these 60 days aka Jan/Feb. The good thing we have is the NFL playoffs and then my favorite show Walking Dead returns after that. I really like summer a lot...in fact I posted something in another forum about how the last few years I get upset when summer ends...and then I realize how stupid I was when the BERS get here and we have all the best fun and stuff of the entire year by far.

It has been a relaxing day here, we did run to Costco for a friend of ours but that has been about it. I watched A Christmas Story 2, I have grown to like that one. It isn't anywhere near as good as the original but it is fun.
Now I am watching the Ed Sullivan Christmas DVD now. Trying to watch as much Christmas up as possible before the season ends.

The snow always reminds of Christmas, I think that is why I love winter so much. I am a huge hockey fan, love the sport, where football I only care about the Bengals. Once the Bengals are done I lose all interest in football, and switch full time to the NHL. I probably would like summer more if I didn't feel so sick in the heat. By the time July 4th comes I am ready for summer to be over.

Walked around the Mall of America for 5hrs today. When walking on the main concourse, they still had Christmas music playing and a bunch of stores had Christmas stuff in them!! That helped with my PCB's. Saw these at a store. Made me wish I didn't have the money concerns I do.
They played music and things moved inside. I have this feeling I won't ever find them again.

Exactly! Summer seems to take forever.Does the summer seem long to you since it's your least favorite? Because I always feel summer flies. But winter on the other hand drags...but you probably think winter flies since you like it.
Those things are awesome. They sell them at Yankee Candle Village, they cost a pretty penny though. I have always wanted one.
It's nice that you were able to see a bunch of Christmas things, and hear Christmas music still playing today.

We went to lunch at the 99 (a local restaurant chain) today, and they were still playing Christmas music over the speakers. So nice to find Christmas music in public the day after New Year's!
I love having a Christmas or several that take place days after December 25th! It always adds to the fun of the season to me.

We just got back from a quick trip to the local garden centre. I browsed the remainder of the decorations and remembered my previous trip there when Christmas was at it's peak. How quickly it all went by.
Sipping a ginger bread latter - I only have a few sachets left and then that will be it till next seasonI am making beef stew for dinner and then we are watching Antman with the kids.

Aawwwwww - I'm sorry about your ginger bread latte sachets. Around now I start rationing Autumn/Christmas flavors of coffee and tea. LOL Trying to make them last as long as I can. I mix my own when I run out, but it's more fun having them pre-made with the packaging. LOL

Right there with you. I have no tolerance for the heat and sun. My husband says he thinks I'm just a really nice vampire. LOL Glad you still have your trees and lights!
Worked all day again today, so just popping on here to say good evening. Still have more work to do, was just taking a break.
