Well this is it last day of Christmas Holiday back to the mundane and predictable as from tomorrow ,,,but remember this if we didnt have those days then Christmas wouldnt be as special and anticipated ,,,,Roll on the "Ber" months but in mean time cherish the friends and family that make the other months bareable

Thank you for those insightful words nash. Hope you settle back into routine smoothly.

Merry Sunday!
I am leaving for work shortly and I have no idea why I am so down hearted this morning. I can't seem to shake it even though I remind myself of everything positive. The boys are sad and don't want me to leave them today - which makes it worse! They must be feeling the same way about returning to school etc.
These feelings will subside as the day progresses though. The first day back to routine after Christmas is hard for all of us. It will get better. So much to look forward to and to be thankful for.

Have a good day everyone. xJanuaryMeaningAndSymbolism.jpg.pagespeed.ic._3D9JG0Dil.jpg

Oh No I just remembered today is the last day for Christmas24 movie channel!! :( :(

I remember coming down the stairs on the first morning of the switch over and tuning in. It's a moment I have come to look forward to each year. Seeing the little Christmas24 logo was so exciting. Like I had opened a door to a Christmas world. I always look forward to that day so much - it sparks the season for me!

Anyway just 10 months till they switch back!

Hope your day goes well (((hugs)))

Good Morning, Folks.

Well, we got back late last night, so I am able to post today's count numbers:
Days to the Season: 315
Days to Christmas Day: 357

And wonder of wonders, as of tomorrow, we will be down to just TWO WEEKS until the first Milestone of 2016, the 300-day Season Window!
(And this wonder is courtesy of our Christmas Season 2016 count silently running all during Christmas Season 2015.)

THANKS once again to Brent for covering for me yesterday. And on such short notice, too.
(Don't we have the most fantastically devoted members here!)

Well, we have decidedly entered winter territory now with a low this morning of 36 degrees. And while the high today is supposed to reach the mid 50's, tomorrow's may barely rise above 40, with temps in the 20's expected shortly.
(Well, hey. It is January after all!)

You have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone!

Well, today I begin my fun annual Christmas post-script activity of looking for hold-out holiday decorations on my neighborhood walks and making my predictions on which ones will be the last to come down.
(Helps to make the walk more interesting and moderate the post-holiday blues a bit!)

Of course. We have to enjoy the whole year (even Jan/Feb which there isn't that much to enjoy in my humble opinion :)). Have a great Sunday!

We all have at least a little bit of that feeling Festive. But that first day is the key. Once everyone is back in to routine you'll realize it's not so bad after all and we can still talk about Christmas stuff all year at MMC :)!

Thanks Crown! I know you meant Sunday not Saturday (wouldn't mind having another day off work though so I'd rather stick with you) and your daily post helps us with our little cases of the PCB'S in January!

Looking forward to hearing about who's last in your area. I like keeping an eye out also around my neighborhood through January.
