Christmas Countdown - 2016

So, today, I shall a) have a coffee and banana muffin b) take down Christmas *sniff c) get my nails done (less Christmas, more business) d) Keep an eye on the updates and figure out how the heck I'm going to get to work tomorrow!!!! There has not been any recent activity coming up on his profile and his last post recorded is still saying Feb 24 so I doubt it but want so badly to be wrong.

My husband heads back to work today and we will all settle back in to our normal routines. It's going to be a busy day for me. My youngest was not feeling well last night so I'm going to call her doctor as soon as they open and see if I can get her in. I also have to drive my mother to an eye doctor appointment this afternoon. And I need to run to the florist to order flowers. We have to attend a wake this evening, my daughters boyfriends Uncle passed away. He had Leukemia and was only 53 years old. So sad. :(
I will be on the run most of the day but will pop in when I get a chance.

Hope you daughter gets well soon. Condolences regarding your Daughter's BF's uncle. That is very sad. Good luck falling back into things. Same over here - Husband and kids back to school/ work today. Take care HMG.

This rain seems to get worse each year if that is at all possible! It's SO very sad and it's part of the reason I want to fast forward a couple months because it is upsetting to see people in so much turmoil losing their houses etc.

There is always some idiot that thinks they know better! :D He must have felt such a fool! I have everything crossed that this rain and the harsh consequences improves soon. Hang in there!

Days to Christmas Day: 356

And what better way to start the week than to realize that we are, as of today, just TWO WEEKS away from the first Milestone of the 2016 Countdown Season, the 300-day Season Window.
(Just think. In 14 measly days, we will already be down into the 200's!)


Chilly but clear all day yesterday. Tonight and tomorrow night, we will be venturing down into low 20's territory with cold highs both days. No precipitation predicted, however.
Right now, we are experiencing 35 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone.
And a Spectacular Start to the first full week of 2016!
