If you can stay inside, no problem. Then they're cozy.
I actually love winter. I just find these extremely cold days difficult to be outside, for a significant amount of time.
Vegas was the opposite spectrum-115 degree days. That's too hot for my liking

We get below zero temperatures every winter, even though were used to getting them each year, adjusting to them is still a process.

Yeah they say as you get older your blood thins and stuff. I guess that's why people move south to retire. But I'm 37 and I feel it lol. My brother moved to San Diego a few years back. He comes here for Christmas and hopes for some snow and cold for a few days but then is ready to go back. He says he does not miss the winters at all.

It is crazy!!! The maintenance guys came through with the snowblower this morning and its already 6 inches deep in spots on the sidewalk again. I just cleared a path to the street but I'm not digging out all the way to the mailboxes and dumpsters.
I don't blame you a bit - especially w/ that cough!! The wind is wicked...can't hardly stand to be out in it long. Or maybe I'm just wimpy!!!
Mom said she has a pretty big drift in front of the garage so I'll have to park behind it & walk through/around it when I get her mail & paper...she told me to forget it, but you know how that goes. Of course I didn't wear boots today either. Ah well...
