I'm jealous of all of you still seeing lights out. I haven't seen a house with lights for well over a week.

We picked up a couple rolls of Christmas wrapping paper for 75% off. We wanted some paper that said Merry Christmas, and there it was.

Well, I guess that makes today Appreciation Day because Weekend Eve is here!

So are the latest count numbers:
Days to the Season: 303
Days to Christmas Day: 345

And HARK!
Note well that there is now UNDER HALF A WEEK TO GO to the 300-day Season Window and the start of a 200's level Season count.
(Wow. We sure closed in on that Milestone fast!)


Well, we had a bit of a warm respite here, yesterday.
Today won't be too bad temperature wise but the rains are supposed to return.
(It's hard for us to get both warmth and dryness together at this time of the year.)
We stand just under 39 degrees at this hour here in the capital city.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

It is POURING outside. Yuck. I work in an office trailer near the main office, and I make dozens of laps back and forth every day, but something tells me they won't see much of me today! Poor Lulu wouldn't even go outside for her "business" this morning. I hope she's not too uncomfortable.

He had a short phone interview with a company yesterday, and it went very well. We'll see if they call him for an in-person interview. Today he has to go into Boston to take an hour-long test (!) in order to qualify for a possible temp contract position. With his experience, he'll do just fine. And he's still waiting to hear back on a temp contract position he interviewed for in late December; the job listing is still open. So we're hoping that 2016 will open some doors instead of closing them.

I have read several times that it's more important to stretch after exercise? Have you heard that?

I don't know...after I run I'm usually just tired and walk it off for a minute. Don't really feel like stretching unless it's for some pizza.
