Hey some of us are manly when we're sick...but yeah I do know a lot of guys do whine . I very, very rarely get sick (probably just jinxed myself). The last time I was really sick was 3 years ago.

Funny last year in June people in my building found out it was my birthday so this 62 year old lady said to me Happy Birthday. I told her thanks but I'm not a fan of getting older. And she laughed at me and said that every year she loves her birthday because she gets better with age.

LOL!! I never thought of my birthday as being such a great thing, (after 21 anyway...) until we lost our brother to a heart attack at the age of 58 & he was a health/exercise nut....I now appreciate every birthday I get!! Way too young!

I'm not a believer in jinxes but I have to say that Sunday evening almost 3 years ago I decided I was going to 'call in sick" to work on Monday...I was not sick. I woke up Monday and was very sick so much so that I also had to call in sick Tuesday! I haven't called in sick to work since but part of me wondered if that was karma for trying to play hookie.

I really wish I was, but I think both Har & I feel even worse.
We tried going for a drive, and 3 more times around the neighborhood. Nothing-her stomach is still upset. She hasn't eaten today at all, and she's not interested in water. Which isn't helping the situation.

Thanks Edge! We have had almost 4 years to re-adjust now - but it stinks! He was my Godfather! Of course we miss him everyday!

Ya, it does get hard sometimes but I try to do the same! Even on a bad day there is usually something good that comes out of it!
