Thinking of you and Harlowe, snowflake. Sounds like you're doing the right things. I hope you'll both be feeling better very soon.
Thank you so much, Merry.
I'm making some peppermint tea, and going to watch some British TV for a bit =]

Continued prayers and positive thoughts flowing to you & Mister~

Thank you!
I really wish I was, but I think both Har & I feel even worse.
We tried going for a drive, and 3 more times around the neighborhood. Nothing-her stomach is still upset. She hasn't eaten today at all, and she's not interested in water. Which isn't helping the situation.
Thanks for asking!
Enjoy your dinner!!
I did further down in the threads that she is doing better today! I'm so glad. Hopefully you'll be right as rain very quickly! Continued prayers and positive vibes coming your way for you both. :)

Good morning, on my favorite day of the week
Have a wonderful Saturday everyone ❤️

Saturday-morning-love-coffee.jpg

Good Morning Christmas friends...Hope everyone is all well today...Its a dry/chilly start to the day here...Going out for dinner tonite with my FIL so looking forward to that...Nothing much planned for the rest of the day just chill out and relax...Have a merry weekend ahead christmas friends:)

Hope you had a wonderful evening!

Good morning everyone!
Merry Saturday!
Hoping and praying that all of my online friends and their furbabies are well this morning. My husband ended up getting very sick last night, not sure if it's a virus or something else going on. The poor thing had to be at a job in the city early this morning. He had to take care of a couple of things and couldn't get out of it. Hopefully he'll be home early this afternoon so he can rest. We are supposed to go to an Islander game tomorrow, I gave him a pair of tickets as part of his Christmas gift. Hope he's well enough to go. Not too much going on for me today. The girls all have to work so I'm going to start breakfast soon. I'm going food shopping after everyone is up and out. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house and I'm going to make a pot of chicken soup for my husband. That's about it for me. Hope everyone has a nice day ♥

I hope your husband is feeling better this evening and has a quick recovery!

Its a dreary Saturday. Temp got into the high 40's and melted all of our snow and now its raining. Middle of Jan. ---sigh On a up note the UPS man delivered this years fresh supply of Icicyle lights:blinky:

WWWOOOOOOHOOOOOOO to Icicle lights!! :D

Merry Saturday! It is pouring here but should clear out about mid-day. My daughter has a 9am basketball game so I am going to get her ready for that and then we are relaxing hopefully for the rest of the day. We may get together with some friends tonight and have dinner and a couple glasses of wine. Enjoy the day and I will chat with the you all later! View attachment 18756

Happy Saturday to you! Hope her game went well!

Good morning everyone! Hope the weekend is off to a good start for you.
Today is my son Henry's birthday, he is 7 today. No huge plans. He wants to help bake his own cake, in the form of a minecraft block. My wife will help him with that, she is the artistic one. I can bake a cake, but it would just be a cake. lol
Grandma and Grandpa are coming over this afternoon and going out to dinner with us. Then, this evening we are going to a place called Scene 75. It is part restaurant, part arcade. Kind of like Chuck-E-Cheese, but with a lot more games. Should be a fun day. Plus, once he opens his gifts, we can fight with nurf lightsabers!

Happy Birthday to Henry and hope he enjoyed his cake!

Well I was asking my brother if he wants to take the tree down and his response...........
NO! He wants to wait another week. Who am I to argue even though I'm older? lol
So my tree will now be up until next weekend the 23rd/24th of January. That's a little late for me but...I love it.

No - you should never argue with wisdom. ;)

It's Snowing!

HAPPY DANCE FOR YOU!! Could you blow some my way?

Been busy at work so haven't had much time to get on here.

Hope you are all well?

Merry Saturday Irish! Hope work has been going well for you. :)

Wow - miss a day and a half - I was 22 pages down. LOL

Had a strange occurrence at the drug store. Standing in line waiting my turn, my phone rang. I have most everyone's ring tones set for specific tones. Very rarely does my phone ring the generic 'any caller,' tone, so I had completely forgotten it was still set for Carol of the Bells. It goes off. It wasn't ridiculously loud or anything, but I was waiting in line, I was next and I don't like to pick up the phone if I'm about to have any sort of exchange with a clerk/teller/waitress. I think it's rude, so I don't do it.

I reached into my back pocket and hit the power button to silence the phone. I didn't even take it out. The man standing next to me makes this exasperated sighing, disgusted noise, looks directly at me and says, "You know - people like you are what's wrong with this world. It's one d*** day out of the year, it's over now. Get over it!"

I said, "Wow.... that was really impressive!"

He looked confused, gave me a nasty look and asked defensively, "What was?!"

I said, "I have never witnessed someone ACTUALLY channel Ebeneezer Scrooge. Man, it was like you reached into Charles Dickens' mind and became possessed by the character. And the masterful skill of being able to make every small child across the globe spontaneously cry a solitary tear of sorrow. Man.... what a gift!"

I could not have timed this more perfectly if I had paid an actor to walk through and do this - a little girl is walking with her mother, hand in hand, sniffling and making that breathy noise they do when they're really crying. No clue if this woman had just scolded her or what, but they were walking out behind us, the girl looked up at him with tears streaming down her little cheeks.

He glared back at me, snatched his bag from the counter and muttered, "Christmas freaks!"

The cashier bursts out laughing when he left and said, "I do not know HOW that just happened with the kid, but that was the best thing EVER! I am always so sad when we have to take the Christmas aisle down and stock it with Valentines Day items. Guess I'm one of those Christmas freaks too."

I said, "I'm considering a tattoo myself."

We are starting to outnumber the Scrooges of the world. What the heck was with that guy? I can respect not everyone is going to be a Christmas freak but did he really have to comment on your ring tone? That'd be like me hearing someone's ringtone play a country song. I'm not the biggest fan of it but I would never criticize someone who had it on their phone.

ROFL I know! LOL How many ringtones do you hear that just aren't to your musical liking and then some of them are really offensive? I could live without the ringtone of the guy standing next to me in line that raps out every slang term for a woman's body parts, calling her terrible names and then answers the caller with, "Hey baby, what's up?" Roooooooomantic.

It made me curious if my ringer was just the straw the broke the camel's back for him... sorry Carl..... or what? I wondered if he would have said something to absolutely anyone at that moment if the tone had just hit him the wrong way? Maybe he was just having a bad day or he really is a Scrooge. We'll never know. Unless I run into him again. It was my corner Walgreens. LOL

Went for a run and halfway through my run I felt a pop in my right calf and had to stop running. Now my calf is really sore and I cannot walk without a limp. Going to try icing it and then a heating pad at night. I'm working my double header right now at the radio station so I'll be off of it for a while. Very frustrating to have this injury. I'm hoping that I can recoup enough so I can continue to run. Gotta start training soon for a half marathon in May.:(

Sorry to hear that Sean, hope your leg feels better very soon!

Well if you do see him again I hope your ringtone goes on for about 5 minutes straight lol.

If it had been on exceptionally loud, I actually would have just apologized. Normally when I go into a store I set it for vibrate or one I saved as "meeting-mode," which changed all tones to very gentle ticks or pops along with vibrate so it doesn't disturb others. Though granted, the snarky comment about Christmas really grated on me personally, loud or not.

After 2 weeks of working with only one day off today is my last day of working and then i'll have 2 days of normal weekend!
