Christmas Countdown - 2016

The ice is thickening, the wind is increasing and the power outage reports in Raleigh keep piling up. Don't know how much longer we will have electricity.
If I haven't posted tomorrow's count by about 10:00 AM or so, it likely means an emergency substitute countdowner will be needed!

If we can make it through tonight, though, things should be alright as the weather service says there will be no more sleet or freezing rain tomorrow, just light snow.
And Sunday will be warmer, with lots of melting!

The weathermen increased our snowfall totals as well due to the shift in the storm track. I don't mind the snow but this whole blizzard thing is making me nervous. I'm worried about the flooding and I really hope we don't lose power.

I'll back you up Crown although I'll be getting some snow and wind but I don't think it will be too windy here yet in the morning.

We need a gps or something to be able to track these storms better instead of all their shifting.

It's crazy, we're expecting up to 15 inches now. Maybe that will change again...

Made a 16 pound turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, baked corn, dressing, Cole slaw, and a pumpkin roll. I'm tired and stuffed. I'll trade leftovers for someone doing the dishes. Lol!!

I saw anywhere from 2-12 inches for my area depending who you listen to lol...so I'm going with MADE'S forecast.
