Hey MMC! What a way to start the weekend-definitely started my 10K training this morning for my 4th 10K--exciting stuff! We have a black tie event tonight-excited about that as well. Love my new haircut! Planning, cleaning, and relaxing the rest of today!

Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far...Things are starting to get back to normal in our household..Granny got a lovely send off yesterday and thanks again everyone for your kind words...Woke up this morning with a few inches of snow and we did manage to build a snowman..Enjoy the rest of your weekend christmas friends.

It's peppermint time! Desert and a treat all rolled into one delicious little candy morsel. (Can you tell I really, really want one right now?!
) There is a very large mason jar on my counter full of peppermints ~ one of the ways I keep a little bit of Christmas around all year.
About to shut things down for the day. I have a lot of cleaning up to do yet and I want to get finished as soon as possible so I can relax for a few hours. Since I got up at my new normal time, I am going to be early tonight! Must say I am getting sleepy already.

Had a fun time seeing the The Revenant with my dad today. Good movie. Though the movie is quite different from the actual story, it was still a good movie. I wish Hollywood would try to stick closer to the actual history when they make movies. I always find the changes they make to be less interesting than what really happened. But that may have something to do with the fact that I teach history and am a bit of history nut.... or just a nut
